The main vowel sounds of Hangul are 아야어여오요우유으이 in that order. "Milk" in Korean is "우유."

5:19 "미국사람 맞아?" Doesn't this translate to "You're American, correct/right?" Why was it translated as "Are you sure you're not Korean"? Thanks for the fun video.

Frank M because it ends up meaning the same thing, it’s just a rhetorical question that’s teasing about language skills being good. Literally translated you’re right, but with context of the conversation it holds more meaning than that.

Literally it means "You're American, right?" but the way it's used is the same way we jokingly ask someone "Are you sure you're American?" The (이/가) 맞다 form is the joke equivalent for "Are you sure~" in English. Although just asking someone "Are you sure?" by itself (nothing afterward) is done with 확실하다.

@@rosie36912 I didn't seem negative. I think it's just coincidence that causes KZbinrs to sometimes magically upload similar videos around the same time. It's happened with 영국남자 once too - we both posted videos about surstromming vs 홍어 (two horribly smelling fish) within days of each other. I figure if there's ever a good idea, there will always be multiple people thinking about it :)
