Korean Dancers React to SHINee Key's Chereo Copying Skill

태민이가 그랬죠 '이형은 컴백하는 걸그룹 리허설때 안무 보면 본방때 이미 같이 추고 있다고...' 그만큼 춤을 빨리 따요. 방송에서 키에게 안무를 잘 외우는 비결에 대해 물어본 적 있는데 어떤 춤을 보면 어디가 포인트고 이걸 살리려고 했구나라는게 바로 보인대요. 샤이니가 2011년부터 일본활동도 해서 춤이 100개가 넘는데 멤버들 다 잊어버리는 수록곡까지 물어보면 다른 멤버 가사 안무까지 안잊어버리고 알려줄 정도로 가사나 춤 기억력이 좋아요. 다른 인터뷰에서 집에서 영상보면서 춤연습시간이 따로 있는거냐고 물어본 적 있는데 엄청 웃으면서 내가 무슨 따로 연습을 하냐고 그러지는 않는다고 합니다. 2000년대 이후로 나온 춤들을 다 알고 있는 걸 봐서는 캐치력과 기억력이 천재적인 수준이 아닌가 싶어요.

데뷔초 링딩동시절 스타킹에서 오랜 녹화시간에 지쳐 멍때릴때 강호동님이 갑자기 지목해서 망치춤 따라해보라고 했는데 자기스타일로 엄청 찰떡같에 따라했죠. 그 뒤로 연말무대에서 포미닛 뮤직, 음방특집에서 소원을말해봐 등등 걸그룹춤 잘추기로 이름 날리더니 놀토에서 짬바어데안가고 승천하는 중 ㅜ ㅜ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ개좋아 계속춰줘

기범이 데뷔초때부터 본업인 샤이니 안무도 습득 속도 엄청 빠르고 다른 팀들 춤도 남자춤 여자춤 춤선 다르게 빡빡 잘 살리고 춤 한두번 보면 뭐를 포인트 안무로 밀고 싶은지 캐치하는게 빨라서 주간아나 이런데서 알음알음(ㅜㅜ) 유명했었는데 놀토를 기점으로 모두가 울 범이 천재인거 알게 되어서 너무 좋아요 진짜로.. 댄서분들 눈에도 아무래도 본업이시다보니 포인트 안무 캐치하는게 빠르다는걸 바로 알아주시니까 샤월인 제가 다 뿌듯하고...💙 김기범 평생 아이돌 해줘

key really is so talented and such an underrated dancer, the way he's able to instantly recognize and memorize the key points of a dance and implement them effortlessly is beyond impressive

What I can confirm is that Key does not study the choreographies, he only sees them one to three times (whether on TV, on music programs when he was an MC or when he watches his colleagues' presentations while waiting his turn) and since Key has a very good photographic and long-term memory makes it easy for him to recreate the highlights of the choreographies. Another point is that Key has always liked to dance to girl group choreos because it's more fun for him, as well as having the ability to learn Shinee's choreos. faster than the others. Finally, I think very few know that Key entered SM for his dance through an audition where the participants were 8 thousand (if I remember correctly) and Key was the only one accepted. I love so much Key and 5hinee!!

Key doesn't have to practice the dances he covers. He has a photographic memory which allows him to see the dance once and he has the main points memorized. The SHINee members have said numerous times over the years that he is always the one to memorize their songs and dances first, and not only does he know his own parts of a song and dance, but he knows everyone's parts and can tell when someone has made a mistake. Key is the one they consult whenever they need help remembering any part of a song or dance. He has proven his ability to see a dance once and instantly dance the dance almost better than the original dancers on several variety shows over the years. For example, just look up SHINee on the variety show Idol Maknae Rebellion from 2009 -- only a year after debut. Key asks Dongho of U-Kiss to show him U-Kiss' new dance and Key was immediately able to dance the dance. Dongho even admitted that Key did it better than him. LOL Or more recently, Key and Taeyeon where dancing to her new song INVU and Key actually pointed out when Taeyeon got the choreography wrong. LOL He can watch a group's debut stage and is able to copy it right way. And he knows almost every dance from the beginning of Kpop as we know it, to present.

the fact is that key said when he opened youtube or social media sometimes he likes to appear cover dance, or something like that so he watched it several times and memorized it, if I'm not mistaken he said he didn't practice, maybe once or a few times you can see it right away, sorry if my info is wrong, but what surprises me is he's even good cover dance boy group not just girl groups

I would think that he practices all the new dances too but he even knows really old choreos, that's really amazing! I was surprise back in 2008/09 when Key always cover girlgroup dance like from SNSD, BoA, Brown eyed girls etc~ but since he keep all those choreo in his memory and adding up with all other generation idols~ I really2 respect him~ He is truly unique and one in infinity~ ^^
