I think "daddy" is used similar to oppa, but it's always used in a flirtatious or joking way. Standing on someone is literal, some submissive people like to be actually stepped on in order to feel more submissive. Choking is also literal, some people enjoy choking/to be choked - which is also a dom/sub thing
@riychu070 Жыл бұрын
No Daddy is definitely sexual, u wouldn't walk around in public calling someone Daddy the way oppa is used. Daddy is also about submission, a girl flirtatiously calling a guy Daddy lets him know she is willing to submit and he take the role of protector in the relationship. For guys a Daddy is usually an older gay in a relationship with a significantly younger one.
@emillarsson3896 Жыл бұрын
@@riychu070 might be different in different countries/groups, I call my friends daddy if they behave older than me
@hanjis5894 Жыл бұрын
I think a lot of the people who will tweet choke me/step on me don't actually mean it though. Those are real kinks but people just use them online to talk about how hot someone is because it's funnier and a way to show how aggressively they are attracted to someone.
@riychu070 Жыл бұрын
@emillarsson3896 context is key. In these scenarios Daddy is 100% sexual. A mom referring to her partner as Daddy as their babby/toddler learns speech is obv not sexual. Same as u sarcastically referring to friends as Daddy.

"ChaCha : More Henry Cavill please " hahahahah Great job PDnim. One of my favorite kpop singer responses to the tweets was when Wonho said "Like I always say, If you want, I'll try it". Buzzfeed also had to bring Eric Nam back a 2nd time because his first one was too innocent. Eric's fans complained because we wanted to see Eric become shy. BuzzFeed also gave innocent tweets to Jackson Wang, and even he complained about it.

yes "daddy" is definitely a sexual term in most cases when it's used by adults. latinos also use a similar term "papi" in a sexual way. of course the terms are still used by children to refer to their fathers but sexually the term refers to men usually older or gruff-looking. the term is also used in dom/sub relationships but on twitter it's usually used very casually lol

I'm not positive, but I'm fairly sure that the people who are writing these thirsty comments never expected them to be read aloud on camera by the very object of their desire. They were just adding to the conversation taking place online regarding whatever celebrity they liked. I'm sure that for some, there was also an attempt to be more outrageous than the last comment that was made, but it's all in good fun.
@callmegale Жыл бұрын
In many cases, they really just tweet it without realizing it will be read aloud that's why their usernames are blurred. But for BuzzFeed Thirst Tweets, they intentionally ask fans to send out the dirtiest and thirstiest tweets when a guest is coming up.

Ram is a verb, but also a noun. A male sheep 수컷 양 is called a ram. Male sheep fight other male sheep during mating season by ramming into each other.
@oemmeg Жыл бұрын
yep, and if you want a more phallic visual, a "battering ram" is a large/heavy object used to break down doors. Usually like a carved log or wood, but modern ones are metal and only require one person. Obviously a requirement for "storming a castle"

I remember requesting an episode of them reacting to thirst tweets so thanks for this! I was not disappointed by their reaction. 😂 It's interesting how shookt they got but I got the idea south koreans are pretty conservative or more closeted when it comes to their sexual desires because when I went there, men were so secretive in asking for one-night stands and fetishes. Thirst tweets are usually done lightheartedly though and sometimes buzzfeed intentionally asks fans to send out some thirst tweets for their guests so no harm, no foul. But the girls would not survive stan twitter. 😂

ok so with science I can literally explain the "step on me" and "choke" an daddy thing. Ok. so in the USA, s3x has socially become very much based around factors of dominance and submission. the ability to exert once force over another. I think its an extension of common human feelings, but in the US we tend to look at the metaphorical a lot, meaning behind action and words, so a certain action or calling someone something is a sign a symbol of ones willingness to be domineering or submit. I think its a wide spectrum, i cant possibly explain it all. but that logic tends to accurately explain most of the western relationship dynamic ideals.
