Not really. You can have heated floors and central heating/AC. With a thermostat you can make sure the house is whatever temperature you want it to be. As for the space, depends on the person. Lots of them fill it with whatever they want. Mostly branded and expensive things. I can say for me that a home gym and a fully stocked kitchen is the most ideal.
