Those escalator ones aren’t faked with actors. That escalator is in Las Vegas and I’ve literally watched them film these before. That’s why the pranks work in the first place because in Vegas it isn’t necessarily crazy to be approached by a person looking to “party” with your partner or with a couple.

I do think some pranks take things too far. From the terror of being in a plane crash to messing with somebody you see has a woman with him (jealousy can be violent, as we've seen). At least two of these are staged. The airplane one is for sure staged as that's a good way to lose your license. The FAA doesn't mess around, and they really don't like pilots messing around. The gang one is also staged. These dudes are hard and will throw fists in a heart beat. There wont be any talking. They will just start throwing firsts....or worse. And that "or worse" part is what really makes it staged. The likely hood that one of these dudes will pull a gun or knife is pretty damn high, and once that happens, all bets are off. Definitely staged as no one is that freaking stupid.
