I thought the difference between Korean and Western Sports bra was going to be that the western ones are super structured and come in three grades, because Koreans overall have smaller cup-sizes... With those bras you would get tissue damage when running or be slapped in the face during downward dog.

It really depends, for the women with large breasts it will cause them to get back pain cause the weight is nor supported, specially while jumping. But for women with smaller beasts it really does not harm to exercise even without a bra, it's basically the same as guys with bigger pecs exercising so it's not uncomfortable nor harmful at all.

@@thirstwithoutborders995 its also the idea that there are already these sizes, if u can't fit in, then that means u are fat. so because of that, not a lot of companies cater towards those larger cup sizes (not just with bras but fashion in general). thats why for many korean girls who have bigger breasts, they feel ashamed and shunned so they just don't go outside or post pictures.

These days it's more about your breast shape then fashion for balconette (balcony) bras. Women with breasts that are fuller at the bottom and empty at the top need a bra with less cup otherwise it will gap so we give them lower cut bras. If you have super round breasts then a balconette bra might cut you awkwardly and just not flatter you.

Yea balconette and demi bras are the way to go for wide set breasts too. The t-shirt bra is the most common found and it's hard finding the other but I always notice how much better the balconette and demi bras fit me

As a westerner from Europe, I think wearing only a bra is a bit too nude in most situations. At the gym, while working out, is a situation where it will work, but most of the time it’s best to wear a top of some kind over it. I also don’t think men should go topless, but that’s me. I don’t know what the general public thinks on that subject nowadays.

From Europe too and I have the complete opposite opinion. I think it should be normalized for women to wear only bras or to go without bras while wearing a t-shirt. I have quiet a few arguments on that but i don't want to pop off here without concise research tho ^^. But at the same time, we can't forget that it's unfortunately generally not safe for women to dress up like that. Which I beleive is a bigger problem. And, based on my sole subjective experience, I would say in Europe the general public is middle/middle. Half ppl for, half ppl against. It really depends on the age and the education.

I find it interesting that the only difference between a bikini and underwear is generally the style. Also, where most people would wear them. You might look askance at a lady (or man) walking down the street in a bikini, but since it's obviously swimwear for some reason, it'd be more okay than someone walking down the street in a bra and panties. Despite the fact that the exact same amount of flesh is covered/exposed. I always find these things mildly amusing.

I wear balconies and can comfirm they are super comfortable and supportive! There are many diffferent bra shapes/types and every woman's boobs suit different types. E.g. I'm mid/large sized boobs with narrow back so I find balcony's the best for me, whereas I couldn't wear a triangle shaped or t-shirt bra due to spillage from the shape of the cup. Try all the bras and find out what works and is most comfortable for you!

S Korea put a massive importance on outward appearance. If a woman doesn't wear makeup they'll often be told by other women that they look ugly and asked if they're okay. It's not taken as an insult, but as genuine concern. Brand names are part of that culture, you have to look your best at all times. That's why they're the capital of plastic surgery. I don't remember the exact percentage of korean who get plastic surgery, but it's alarmingly high, even with men. Most of the surgeries are to slim the jawline, nose jobs, double eyelids, and one to tighten inner thigh skin.

bras actually prevent the strengthening of the ligaments that support the perkiness of your boobs, so wearing a bra every day is doing the opposite unless of course, you are doing a medium/heavy physical exercise where you might too roughly stretch your ligaments

As an American with a small frame but big boobs, my bras are FUNCTIONAL only. As a 32G, I would get way too much attention if I tried most of these styles. Also, I would NOT be "freeing the nipple" at any size. lol
