lol, i work at supermarket, I have seen few customers do that walk in and walk out not buying anything, first few thoughts flew my head "why" "did he/she not find what theyre looking for" and rarely judge them if we think they stole something, I only did that if i see faces are familar to the store (people who actually steals). have seen people walk out with stuff before too... so i wouldnt be all that worried if they stare at you if you walk in and out of the store. even some of the customers forget to get their bags to pack in checkout, or forgot their purse/wallet. its normal...

I JUST updated my 2012 Pro, it was dying a very slow but very painful death lol and I swear my new Pro is like living a different reality, it's so smooth - but (and I'm sure you've noticed this) the USB/charging ports and everything on the side are different, so you'll need to buy some extension cord thing in order to use many accessories. I only use the new cord for my hard-drive and not much else honestly, but just something to keep in mind when budgeting!

Hi guys! Just wondering if you guys ever tried a korean grocery store in Halifax. I live in NS and I do korean shopping in Halifax regularly. If you want korean groceries there is a place called JJ mart on gottingen St. You can find a lot of stuff including fresh kimchi. And I also recommend this new Korean restaurant called Arisu on Granville St. if you want to take your parents for some Korean BBQ. Summer is here finally and I hope you have a great time in NS!😀

Love watching your videos as I was nearly born in Korea. My father was in Korea with the British Army in the 1950s. He really loved ithe country and the people and was offered a job by one of the many friends he made there. My mother changed her mind at the last minute though and wouldn't agree to the move. He kept up correspondence with his Korean penpal until his death though. Oh well, the UK is not so bad, I suppose! 🙂

I'm with Sarah in this, for me cartilages and fat ruin the meat when I find them in my meal, but they do give the meat more flavor, as my mom always says. So her secret is to cut those parts out, grill them separately until they are kinda burned and crunchy and then put the meat with the sauce and stuff. No weird texture and GREAT taste! Of course I don't eat meat anymore but that was good anyways... XD
@cree_VI6 жыл бұрын

Sarah! You scared me to death with the typhoon comment! LOL! I guess that was a figure of speech?! I messaged my daughter in Jamsil and I asked her if she was ready for the typhoon (I live on the Gulf Coast in Florida and we get too many hurricanes that are no joke!) and she was like, "What are you talking about, mom?!"
@2hearts1seoul6 жыл бұрын
It wasn't a figure of speech--it's going to arrive tomorrow! www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20180701000050 It likely won't be too bad in Seoul compared to the southern part of the peninsula, but we'll still be getting heavy rain and high winds >_
@droumbos6 жыл бұрын
She's either too busy, clueless, or just jaded from living through hurricanes here in Florida, lol! But in her defense, her fourth hurricane was when she was 12 and it was a category 4, so heavy rain and wind will definitely not faze her!

July in Korea is a monsoon(rainy) month. I like July very much due to the long term rain because I have much memories related to rain. But If you don't like rain, You'd better avoid visiting Korea in July. It is a monsoon month.

About your two MacBooks being slow: It might have the SATA (spinning) hard drive and not an SSD hard drive. I highly recommend upgrading to SSD, and also check if you have a minimum of 8 GB RAM. My old Midi-2012 MacBook feels like a new one after I changed the old SATA (which have a very limited and short lifespan) to a brand new SSD. The cost of changing a hard disc is not so bad either, plus you might clean it for dust and dirt every once in a while.

I loved your skincare video 😁. Been wanting to try Korean skincare products but didn’t know where to start. So your video helps! Can u do a day time skin care route?? Also, can you do your night time skin routine in the day too? Just wondering as my skin routine is the same day and night 😐. My klairs midnight blue calming cream is on its way 👏🏼 as well as a few other things u use as well. Can’t wait to get started and will let u know if it helped with my redness and dryness! Thank u! Love u guys ❤️❤️❤️.
@2hearts1seoul6 жыл бұрын
During the day time in the Korean summer, I only use around 2-3 products because it’s sooo humiddd here. so if I did a day time skin care routine now, it really wouldn’t be an accurate representation of what I usually do 😅 I wouldn’t do my night time skin care routine during the day time, because my goal at night is to basically lock moisture into my skin and repair it over night, so it’s soft and moisturized when I wake up. It’s a bit too heavy for the day time, but would probably work in the winter :) Good luck with the blue calming cream!! That stuff is amazing! 😁

Would mailing the foodstuffs in advance be more practical and/or cheaper than stuffing it into your luggage? My aunt in Korea mails stuff to my parents once in a while. Stuff like pre-package bite sized nori sheets and one time a bunch of Soju(?) in a juice box. I'm pretty sure it was Soju because it was clear and I almost passed out after finishing a box 🤣.

I agree with Sarah on the fatty part of meat, I can't eat them too or I gag too. In Morocco my husband friends they are from côte d'ivoire they made a meal out of beef's fat/skin that was smoked. At first I dint know I ate a few bites of it and as I got to my third or fourth bite I felt a piece of hair and took it out. I was so grossed out I stopped eating it before I started gagging. I ate the rice and the sauce but after a while the sauce too was gross cause of the meat. I was honest with them that I dint really like it cause its not something we would eat in Canada either. I miss moroccan food though so badly like saussages, fish, chicken tagine, french fries... omg and bunch more stuff.😊
