The importance of dog grooming go beyond looks. If you ever worked or volunteer in a shelter you'll see that dogs that are well groomed are more likely to be adopted. Even as pet lovers we first like a puppy for his or her looks, and them we start to love them regardless of looks. However, stuff happens, dogs get lost, or owners go through divorce, die or looses their houses. When that happens, a well groomed dog might have a higher chance to resume their lives happily with another family.

LOL, attempting this on my male Morkie. He's all boy and not sure about this look. NOT new to grooming, have been grooming poodles since I was 14...now 70, but new to terriers. I have my 7 mo old Standard poodle puppy leaning on me now. I was just trying to figure out you lines for the legs. My little 6 lb boy's hair isn't as lush as his momma's is. I have a Maltese puppy, she is 15 weeks old now, and doing so well> Just curious, when do you think their baby hair is done growing? Ive already started grooming her myself, and have already started training the hair to look like Korean cut. I took her to a local petstore, but they chopped up her hair so bad, i decided to start grooming her myself. Tina, the only thing I would be concerned about is your local weather. Do you live in an area where it snows? If so, I would not begin the shaved body Korean cut at this time. October is when I stop shaving my dog and let the hair grow for the colder months ahead as I live in NYC area. Then come spring, I shave it again. Just my two cents worth.

We feed the girls a combination of home cooked proteins, sweet potatoes, green peas/beans and fresh apples, carrots and blueberries. We also feed the venison/squash and beef and potatoe recipes from Just Food for dogs.
