안녕하세요. 아몰 님, 반갑습니다. Great. If you don't mind I'd like to let you know just one word would be changed. That's '너'. 너 is rarely used in Korean. Because it's only often used with a very close relationship. If not, it sounds rude. So you can use 선생님 instead of 너. 😃Thank you for appreciating it. Oh, and there are videos for the words instead of 너. Casually (kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2i9aaCajN-nfaM) or politely(kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpyviYePea9sfrs)

Hi teacher! I'm so luck for finding this channel right now. Thanks for helping us in the classes of Korean language ❤ I'm a Brazilian girl fall in love with the Korean culture for a long time ago. Okay, so I have 2 questions: The first) What's the difference between 남자친구가 뒤에 나무 있어요 and 나무 뒤에 남자친구가 있어요? The second) The sentence 집의 안에 문이 없음 있어요 is right? And I thought if this is also right: 집의 안에 문이 없음 없어요 (if I say 난 집의 continues right??) So many questions but I'm really grateful for this video and your work. I'll wait for your reply thankfully ❤❤ XOXO
@alphakoreanclass
@alphakoreanclass 4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Satanzinha. I am happy to help you to learn Korean. And. Let's see your question. 1) 남자친구가 뒤에 나무 있어요.( these sentences make no sense) As I explain at the beginning part of this video if you want to say 'behind a tree' is '나무 뒤에' not ' 뒤에 나무' so 나무 뒤에 남자친구가 있어요.= 남자친구가 나무 뒤에 있어요. and both sentences have no differences in the meaning. But normally place and time information is placed in the begining of sentence. And if you want to emphasize 남자친구 than other you can say that first. 2)Actually I couldn't understand what are you asking me in the second question. becuase 집의 안에 문이 없음 있어요. or 집의 안에 문이 없음 없어요. both have no meaning. -detail 1) 집의 안에 means 'in the house' right? That is logically right. But in a real conversation most of people say '집 안에' (without 의) -2) 문이 없음 means 'No door'. I guess ..do you want to say ' there is no door in the house'? that would be ' 집 안에 문이 없어요.' If you have more questions ask me more. And when you make your own Korean sentence please make sure to translate it in English to catch your intention as well. You can send me an E-mail as well. Have a good day. btostar1984@gmail.com

@@alphakoreanclass Thank you so much! I get it! About the second question, what I wanted mean is: if I want say "there is no door in my house" so I would say "집의 안에 문이 없어요"? And how i use the "없음" in sentences?

Basically the meaning of two sentences has no differences. But the content of the first position in sentence tends to emphasize compare to other parts. You can choose anything between two sentences depending on context or intension.

Thank you and I have a question - Why is 고양이가 책상 위에 있어요 translated as "There is a cat on the desk" and not "The cat is on the desk"? I am confused bcz "there is a cat on the desk" implies that I had no idea about the cat . Whereas "the cat is on the desk" means I am aware that there's a cat in the room but I don't know where in the room. So if I want to say "The cat is on the desk" is it okay to use 고양이가 책상 위에 있어요 ? Or I have to change something? Like if I write - 책상 위에 고양이가 있어요 will it mean "The cat is on the desk"?
@amogeezike
@amogeezike 3 жыл бұрын
You are right about the context slightly changing with the two sentences. In "There is a cat on the desk", the subject is the cat, so the subject marker 가 is used. On the other hand, with "the cat is on the desk", the cat here is the topic, not just the subject (and just as you said, there is more context involved there; you know there is a cat already and maybe you are looking for it). So in this case, you could use the topic markers 은/는: 고양이는 책상 위에 있어요. There is also a slight twist here in that you might not even have to mention the cat in the second case. For instance, if someone asks "where is the cat?", you could just say "on the desk". Same in Korean: if the topic has already been set (as in everyone knows that you are talking about the cat and its position), you could even omit 고양이는, and just say "책상 위에 있어요". I recommend Helena 선생님's video on 은/는 to really get into this grammar point. I hope this helps!

Sorry, but how are up, down, behind, etc NOUNS?! Are they nouns in the Korean language?!? They are prepositions in the English language so I can't see how their parts of speech would not be the same in a different language.
@alphakoreanclass
@alphakoreanclass 2 жыл бұрын
위 is noun, 위에(noun+particle) is adverb. But "above" is a preposition. English and Korean grammar are almost the opposite. I think you can start grammar by realizing this fact.
