South-Korea and Turkey are known as brother countries, and Ive always felt that. Korean people just light up my heart automatically. Now seeing you guys try our foods is even more heart warming. I think its my way of keeping in touch of our asian race since we have been so mixed due to history. Manti/hinkal is definitly an asian dish originating from central asia. I think the Oguz Turks brought it to Anatolia. A lot of turks dont know but our origin culture is similar to Korean and Japanese culture. We also have onee chan/ oni even though our language has been through so many factors :) we say Abla do girls and Abi to guys we are not allowed to use the first name.

@LeGeBeTe S!ken Vardy 🏳️‍🌈⃠ Nope, they aren't same thing. It's a very common and stupid mistake. Both foods have self-explanatory names, how do people still mix them up is beyond me... Sarma as the name suggests grape leaves WRAPPED around vinegar spicy rice. Dolma as the name suggest a veggie/fruit FILLED with spicy rice and ground beef mixture. Dolma has many variants where veggie/fruit changes like bell pepper, tomato, pumpkin etc.. Sarma has two variants, the real and the only one that should humans consume: olive oiled, and the heretical and the-name-of-which-should-never-be-uttered; the mince meated. Not only the way insides are prepared different but also cooking style of both is different. Differently not the same food. It's like calling hot dogs, hamburgers.

As a person from turkey we eat manti like soup but you can also eat it like that then the reason why the drink wasn’t so salty is because you can add more if you want then the mayonnaise is for the French fries but it is also good on the dönner

Hey, You guys should eat baklava. By the way you need to shake ayran before drinking it. And I prefer mixing mantı before eating to taste all the sauces at once. They must have given the tahini to eat it with künefe and not the main dishes.

There's no coconut in Kunafah, that's probably why you liked it, if you're thinking the shredded thing on top, its just filo dough that's shredded, Kunafah is best to be eaten within 5 min of it coming out of the oven or gas stove, after 5 min it starts to get cold and hard which tastes bad , i don't understand why restaurants even have that option for take out kunafah such wrong way to eat it cold

I'm afraid you won't come back if you come. Also, cheese made specially for künefe is put on the künefe.. we have baklava. we have rice pudding in the oven. we have the richest cuisine in the world, but you have only memorized hamburgers and you don't know anything else.
