Discovered your videos while sick in bed with COVID in March 2020 on Roku and then KZbin and have been hooked ever since. I live right beside Alirang Korean Restaurant here in Ottawa and for so many years I would see huge lineups and didn't understand what the fuss was all about until I started watching your videos! Then I decided to go next door and try them out. I had a Kimchi pancake, Topokki and Tofu Bibimbop and red bean paste icecream! It was amazing. Love the video! My wife and I went to Koreatown two weeks ago on a long walk along Bloor (Sherbourne to Christie & back). We stopped by Hodo-Gwaja for the walnut cakes and is my go-to when I'm in Koreatown. One Korean food I really like is Dalk-galbi and after watching your video I think a return to Koreatown will be coming soon! BTW, love the contest and will put a submission for sure! Kamsahamnida!

That's good timing. The Toronto Blue Jays will be returning to Canada on July 30 for the first time since the pandemic. Blue Jays pitcher Hyun Jin Ryu hasn't had a home game in Toronto since he signed with the Jays. He probably has a big appetite and I'm sure he'll keep a lot of the Korean restaurants busy....but I don't think he needs to win the giveaway.

You guys should have try Jindallea! It's the best Korean restaurant on the block! I've tried all restaurant in Korea town but no one can beat them. 🤤 Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu is the second best. Definitely should give it a try when your back in Korea town.

Our daughter-in-law also taught English in Busan during the peak of Gangnam Style popularity. Several of her co-workers from those days came to the wedding in 2019, and they all did the complete Gangnam Style dance from the video when the DJ played it. It was as if none of them forgot a single move.

I'm in the UK...Funny enough last week we went to Portugal on holiday and struggling to find vegetarian food but ended up finding a restaurant doing vegetarian Bibimbap 🥰First time for us trying Korean...we had it 3 days in row...and they gave me a tub of this sauce to take home with me 😇 Im not sure what its called!? Can someone be kind and tell me so i can find it here in London! It was such a revelation 😋😋😋😋 I always love watching whatever video you upload! Wow things have changed just behind you where the Bloor Fruit Market is (Manning and Bloor) is where I use to work at my uncle Italian pizzeria. This was my neighborhood growing up I remember the Santa Claus parade every year going by. Now I must make a trip back to get some Korean food, thanks guys. Hello again. I am from London and believe it or not, never made it to TO ( although as a side note my wife and I are mad about Korean food!). Moved out west to Alberta, Saskatchewan, then BC; now California. I see you are heading to South America again!. I hope some day to travel to Peru, in particular the ancient sites at Caral-Supe and Chauvin de Huascar, along with other sites. Maybe you can check Peru out some day, eh? I am OK at Spanish, at least the Californiero dialect. (Much more interested in Quechua though; being Metis, kinda groove on native languages).

I am at Bloor West a lot but only go to a great Indian restaurant called Banjara, (at the other side of the trees behind Sam). Canada excites me; 1) Quebec arguably feels more European than any other place in North America; 2) Toronto is a huge city with lots to offer, even if it is very similar to the US in certain ways; 3) The Maritimes have that old colonial British feel, similar to Northern New England

Wow! Such great food! Too bad here in Brasilia it is hard to find Korean food, except for Bibimbap. Unless Embassy of Korea here organizes some kind of food event, where we can try different Korean dishes, it is quite difficult finding them. I tried kimchi in one of these events once. Be sure to stroll around Kensington Market on a nice afternoon, Little Italy, the Portuguese neighbourhood, Polish areas, China towns, Little India(s), St Lawrence Market, Little Italy, Queen St West, The Junction, the west Indian markets, great Canadian fare of course, oh man, can't name all the great places. Persian, Turkish, classic English, so many various African cuisine places, Ethiopian, Lebanese, and you already have explored Korea town....you name it, you can find some version I bet. Plus great coffee everywhere. And wines! Enjoy and don't be afraid to reach out if you want recommendations or someone to dine with : ). PS Love the Sunrise House. And PAT Korean market virtually next door. Yeah!!! Toronto!!!!

Some dishes can be a bit spicy, but not all of them. Bibimbap is a good one to start with - maybe just add a tiny bit of the red sauce and see how spicy you like it.
