I've dated a Korean woman, but she was raised here. Her mom married an American service man, way back when. She was very truthful about Korean behavior. I learned a lot from her.

Having known several friendly Koreans in America and Korea the ones in the Philippines, Angeles City are a different breed. They are like babydoll terminators on their mission - don't get in their way! It's wild how the Americans (MacArthur specifically) played such a big part in South Korea and the Philippines existing and how it's not really taught or remembered by the younger generation there. Hopefully someone is up to preserve their freedom from NK and China in WWIII.

I was wearing a Steeler Roethlisberger jersey at Iguana's Mexican restaurant on Friendship Highway a few years ago and a Korean guy came over and told me he was a Steeler fan...he shared his bottle of tequila with me. Once in a jeepney, some Koreans guys said hello to me...that is the sum total of my 6 years of contact with Koreans in AC.

They're shy, but when you actually talk to them, they are actually really cool, it's just the culture and laguange makes us both not want to engage with one another, I was kind of forced to talk to them at work, and made a good friends with the Koreans there, they often stuck to themselves at first but after a while they were friends with everyone, it seems like they dont want to talk with you but be mistaken not, that's just the anxiety or shyness, they are just like us, they cool

​@thepontiff7505 it is obvious that some Korean bars want to only serve Koreans...I lived in Japan and in Japan their are bars that are only for Japanese Men.. I was actually shocked that some Japanese bars dragged me into them while I was looking for a Japanese Karaoke bar that my friend was at with Filipinas. I just got in had a drink quickly asked a Japanese Girl of she wanted a drink 🍸 and took off as soon as I finished my drink. I heard of real expensive Japanese bars you do not want to get wiped out in. After that drink I found the Karaoke bar my friend Roomate in with his Filipina Girlfriend.
