Korean-Style Cheese Corn Dogs Coated with Crunchy Potato Fries | Famous Korean Street Food
💠Ingredients:
1 pc. egg
2 tbsps. sugar
1 1/2 tsps. instant dry yeast
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour (or bread flour)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup water
3 pcs. chicken franks (or your choice of hotdogs or sausages)
125 grams mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs, add more as needed
2 cups french fries, cut into small cubes
💠1/4 cup all purpose flour to dust your french fries
cooking oil for frying
barbecue sticks
💠Toppings - Optional
sugar
ketchup
mustard
mayonnaise
💠Note:
If your dough is still dry after adding the water. You may add a little bit more of water, starting with 1 tablespoon first until you achieve a moist and sticky dough.
I suggest that you use thicker barbecue sticks, so it's sturdy enough that it won't bend and snap once you roll your skewered hotdogs on the sticky dough. Also, choose the size or length that fits your pan.
