Love this! As an Asian man, I find Latin/Mexican culture to be the most beautiful, warm and welcoming! This is sadly a stereotype which actually endangers mexican GIRLS and women. It is not a familiar practice to press lips against a strangers face. They coached her to do this. This WESTERNIZED channel is just promoting stereotypes that sexualize Latin women/girls (aka minors). No one in Mexico randomly kisses a stranger. It is quite evident in the fact this is a WHITE western funded channel, that promotes WHITE WESTERN stereotypes of LATAM

As a mexican you know the power of the "chancla" and you know you gotta do it before it hits 3...and on the sound that you make when you don't believe someone (ptsaaa) you have to make that little "ptss" like a kiss sound and then the "aaa" if you just say "aaa" its not the same, you have to make the "kissing sound at the beggining haha. I always find it funny how "romantic" our greeting is to Koreans. Lol, when I went to Korea another thing my friends found strange was that whenever we arrive anywhere we greet everyone, for example let's say you go in a doctors office and there are already other people in the waiting room, you go in and say "Good morning, afternoon, night" depending on the time, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear and everyone says it back to you. And if you don't it's a little disrespectful. This is only a México thing. Mexicans in United Stated don't do this.

Im Mexican and yes. You greet everyone in the room with a hug and a “cheek” kiss. If you’re a woman and you feel uncomfortable with hugging a man and getting that close, you can shake their hands. And vise versa really. It’s super obvious to read each others vibes. Typically the uncomfortable person is reaching out their arms to shake hands way before it becomes uncomfortable. But number one rule is to always greet everyone at a party

Yeah Mexicans are taught to hug everyone. I remember being a kid and even though I was shy I had to say hello to everyone (hug). Then you grow up and it's second nature. I didn't realize this was a Mexican thing until I met my friend from Croatia. I was hugging everybody and they didn't know why lol They didn't say anything for a while but it was like ??? and I didn't understand the confusion haha I find it awkward to not hug when saying hello - like there is a distance. I think the negritos do this too but they are cooler. They do a hand-shake where you pull each other in but with the fists in between. Not Mexicans; chest to chest baby!

Aunque No todos en Latinoamérica consideramos el saludo de beso para personas que no conocemos o que no nos agradan, no es una regla ni obligación porque también es nuestro espacio personal en el que muchos preferimos solo acercarnos a familia y amigos cercanos.

From Mexico to all Mexicans, the Rosca de Reyes represents the infinite circle of love for God, crystallized dried fruits that decorate the bread symbolize the jewels embedded in the crowns of the Reyes Magos and the hidden baby represents the Baby Jesus. From Mexico, for those who are not Mexican, search Mexican websites about our folklore and traditions.

@@Mrtetzu A tradition is the transmission of doctrines, rites and customs from generation to generation, regardless of their origin (for example, religion). Customs and folklore in America come from Europe, Asia and Africa and were enriched by local customs. But thank you for your observation.

The rosca doesn't contain just one little doll, it has many and the bigger the rosca is, the more dolls it will have. And traditionally, you are supposed to cook the tamales for everyone, not buy them (although if you don't know how, you can buy them) on Feb 2, "Día de la Candelaria"

in different parts of Mexico Rosca de Reyes is different, in central Mexico it has like 8-9 babies and the ones who gets them has to make tamales for an eating on 2nd of february.

@@EmikoZueexactly, I don't want my comment to be interpreted as an offense because that's really not my intention. It just depends on each person's personal taste,In this part of the country we have more taste for the cowboy type, while on the other side the old money type.

In Puerto Rico This is also how you greet someone, you also shake hands or give them a hug... it all depends... if it's an aunt or grandmother, get ready, the hug includes a kiss, a pinch and a squeeze, It depends on which part of the island... 😅😅😅😅😅

5:48 minute. In Spain, and in many other places, this type of sweet is also eaten on the day of the Three Wise Men (Reyes Magos). Although they appear and are supposed to bring good luck to whoever it is.At least in my country (Spain).

Well yes, as Mexicans we have traces of influence from Spanish culture as a result of the conquest. Especially about Catholic customs. Which have already been absolutely taken.
