Greetings back from Germany! 👋😄 I‘m a passionate collector and share my first impressions of my new bows or do a comparison between them 😁 Sometimes I share impressions of quivers, too. But it’s no business, just sharing ☺️

I am a beginner traditional Korean archer myself. Her Korean style technique is actually legit. I can not find any fault in it. By the way, we call that thumb ring a "male" thumb ring because it looks like a ( ). There is also another thumb ring called "female" thumb ring which is a lot smaller. I have both and the male thumb ring is much easier to shoot with in my opinion.

@@UltimateTruthChannel Thank you so much, dear UltimateTruthChannel! ☺️🙏🙏 This is a very kind compliment! Since a few years we have the Korean Archery days in Germany, where some archers meet for a long weekend to practice Korean archery- as good as we can 😁 Ki-Joong Eom is our teacher and sometimes we manage to welcome a guest teacher as well ☺️ These weekends once a year are very precious and intense 😁 This year we have offered to craft thumb rings out of Buffalo horn. Most of the crafters have chosen the male ring, since it’s really awesome to shoot! I agree with you! I love to shoot the Korean way with a male ring! 😊

With a Korean style bow it seems important to reach close to max draw. Use the right size bow so that the max draw matches your full draw. I get more shock and slower arrow speed if I do not fully draw the bow. It feels much nicer close to max draw and the arrows fly crazy fast...

My max draw matches the max draw of standard KTBs

Thank you so much, dear Marc! ☺️🙏🙏 I’m sorry for the late reply! Your comment seemed to have drowned somehow, but now I have seen it! I’m sorry again, but I didn’t contact the bowyer myself. You need to talk Korean to chat with him… Do you have someone to help you? I only have the address on the shipping label but no contact info… but I can ask my helper about this, if you also have a Korean helper at hand 😁

Nice review 👍🏻. One question, how do you shave off and shape the handle? Did you just simply cut it using knife? 🤔
@agamagreen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, dear Roy! ☺️🙏🙏 The handle was pre-shaped and I have filed and sanded a bit more to my liking. Indeed, the pre-shape was nearly perfect. ☺️

Sweeet bow for a sweeet lady archer. The practice arrow is meant to fly on a circular motion to avoid damage on the arrow and string. A bamboo pole can do the trick.
@agamagreen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, dear James! ☺️🙏 Yes, the pole feature was told me the way you describe. Indeed, it didn’t work for me like this. I have tried a few options available in my garden (as you could see), but none of them made the arrow fly in a round… best working for me was the stone on the ground, since the Paracord band didn’t slap me. Have you build a pole and can share a video? Best wishes! 🏹🔆
