The only thing we know is that North Koreans have been training with Russian forces in the Far East, near North Korea. In the context of the cooperation that seems a very clear conclusion and signal - cooperation on paper with a treaty and military cooperation by training together. What would be usefulness of N. Korean soldiers in Kursk? They don't speak Russian, they can't operate Russian weapon systems due to language barrier. They don't have any knowledge of terrain and would need to have units of translators just to lead them to the bathroom. So, stop with the nonsense. The only thing that would be logical for N. Korean troops is that they are far behind the front line, training with Russian instructors due to new military doctrines that came out from this war. Even if Russians would want them to be used in Kursk, that would happened only after at least year of training, and by that time, Kursk debacle will be wrapped up. Dima showed a video of the 36th Marine Brigade in the Kursk region and they fought valiantly, if pointlessly, in Krinky. Also, the Western-equipped 47th Mechanized Brigade is still littering the Sudza area with smoldering Bradleys. I've seen reports that better troops have been getting rotated out and less experienced territorial defense troops rotated in, but there are probably still a lot of tough Ukrainian troops to battle there. Of course, I'm on the opposite side of the world, so I could be completely wrong here. 😐

Those aren't N Korean troops those are Cuban, no Venezuelan or perhaps Brazilian. But they could be Syrian or perhaps Egyptian. Get a DNA swab and send it to the Atlantic Council or maybe the Syrian Observatory. The NYT editors will know for sure if the Washington Post doesn't post first.

It's quite possible that North Korean troops will join, but I'm almost certain they would only be deployed in the Kursk direction. After all, that would be within the spirit of the Russian-Korean agreement and it would free up some Russian troops to speed up the offensive in Donbas
