Hello! I'm so excited to try some vegan Korean recipes. I recently stopped eating meat and I'm planning on transitioning to a vegan diet soon. The only problem is that I have an intolerance to some foods. I'm going to try an elimination diet to see what I can really eat. Do you have any suggestions for high-protein foods to replace tofu and beans? I am hoping that I can still eat tofu etc. in the end, but I'm going to cut it out during the elimination phase.

I got sick like that once. A friend of mine had a birthday party on a 108 degree day in an area that had no shade. It was crazy. I was so sure that there would be shade because it was in the middle of nature, but it was so sunny that there was no shade even under trees (probably due to the position of the sun). Then, my friends wanted to hike and didn't even notice when I said I couldn't continue and I had to sit down there and then on the rocks. Some other attendees of the party (who I didn't know) rescued me and nursed me back to health. I had sweat pouring out from even my wrists (an area that never sweats) and I am not a sweaty person at all. My heart was pounding and I was very weak. I don't even remember everything that was wrong with me. They had a tent sort of thing with them and put me under it so I could get out of the sun and gave me a lot of water. After a few hours, I felt a lot better, but I honestly think I would have died if they hadn't have helped me. Sorry for the long-ass story. lol
