Bobby is so sweet. His relationship with his mum is beautiful. Most teenage boys would go off on holiday and not think to call home once, and meanwhile he's basically brought her along everywhere. What a sweetheart. I hope my daughter is as lovely when she gets to be a teenager. His mum is beautiful and I love her adventurous spirit!

I lost my mum to cancer last year, and i love to see the relationship between bobby and his mum in this video. The little jealousy and complaints bobby’s mum throw at him about food kinda used to how my mum used to do to me so this video has been a blessing to watch and also it reminded me of how me and my mum used to be and makes me misses her so much. Bobby's relationship with his mom is so beautiful. You can truly see that he's a product of his mom's upbringing. I'd love a series where the boys (I suppose men now!) visit Korea with their moms, like when Josh's mom or Ollie's dad went to Korea.

I haven't laughed this much in a long time! Bobby's mum is an absolute delight! Love her willingness to try every dish and she is a woman of her word as she told Bobby "If you don't like it, spit it out, but at least try it." I didn't see her spit. What a neat mother-son relationship.

Mandy is the reason we love Bobby so much. You can tell she is one of the main reasons why he is such an amazing young man full of wonder. I loved what she said about telling her children to at least try something once. That is clearly why Bobby was not only so open to trying new trying during the start of the "English Highschoolers try" series but also his whole time in Korea. Also it dawned on me that the "boys" are now young men in Uni and can have a shot of Soju. It actually brought a little tear to my eye to watch Bobby take his first shot of Soju with his Mum and Josh.

Came back for rewatch #3 after the "phone home from boot camp" episode. Bobby's relationship with his mother may appear too codependent for some but it's actually incredibly wholesome. It's just wonderful to see a young man love and respect his mother this fiercely.

It ain't easy to find a decent, well mannered kid these days. And as a mom I know decents kids aren't always born that way. It requires a lot of effort to shape those kids into wholesome, well mannered ones. Great respect to Mandy, and to all parents around the world, good job in raising these good people...
