Thanks for visiting my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Amoo's really blows away any other kabob restaurant in the DC area, and does a marvelous job with other Persian specialties such as stews, soups and vegetables. Sebastian and his family are also the nicest people and put a smile on your face whether you are dining in or picking up takeout. They do it right and deserve all the success in the world.

Laboo (roasted beets salad) $11, Chimichurry Lamb Kebab $22, Kadoo with Lamb Shank $22, Saffron Ice Cream $7 (per order, but we got 2 orders), Persian Loose-Leaf Black Tea (it was complimentary drinks for us). We think it’s reasonable pricing because of the quality of the food, presentation, and great service. Girl u complement everything. I typically dont like Iranian food cuz most of their dishes r on sweet side. I guess when u r visiting a restaurant and owner is kind enough to give u a tour it rude to give criticize their food

Basically, there are 5 sweet dishes which are very popular, the rest are mostly sour taste. I think you probably taste something else.
