I know righttt i love Yuta somuch for being genuinely honest loving and caring to Taeyong, i actually notice that Taeyong probably has very low self-esteem which is so sad to see for a wonderful person like him :( since i myself had experienced it for years and still trying to overcome it, i know it's not very easy to just gain some confidence, i just feel concerned on how much taeyong must have always beaten himself up and always degrades or self depreciates himself :(( as someone who has experienced this myself, no matter how much alot of ppl come to tell you how truly amazing or even perfect you are, your own self is the one who made it all hard the most which is what i noticed in taeyong :(( he always sees the best in everyone but never considers himself as the best, he really does not see the perfection he has 😭😭 i feel so deeply concerned and sad for him😔💚

I really love how yuta talked about nct's fashion! Some people like to clown them about it a lot, but they don't realize that its part of their concept. Nct is about being expirimental and different from other groups. They have their own style, and their outfits reflect that! Their goal isn't to have a style that everyone loves and is used to, it's to create their own. I hope more nctzens begin to appreciate how their style pushes the boundaries of current kpop fashion

Finally a NCTzen who GETS IT. It's not just part of their concept..it's part of THEM as a group/ Brand. You deserve all the likes in the world. I really dislike when their own fans comment: "what was the stylists thinking","sm what are you doing" No, NCT/SM/ Stylists know exactly what they are doing. Do their own fans want NCT to look like every other boy group out there? Aka not be unique?. I always see the same styling coming from boy groups nowadays, that's why there is not uniqueness in kpop as much as there was in 2nd generation kpop. If new fans have issues with their styling they should look up NCT127- Simon Says lyrics. NCT says it ALL there. Anyway SM has always made something for their groups that others follow, happened with SNSD concepts,styling/with EXO's uniforms,numbered shirts(that idols are still wearing till this day)etc.

But Taeyong has gotten a lot of hate especially pre-debut & as a rookie(he still does). So it sounds more like he doesn't find himself charming personality/talent wise. He of course is good on stage but that comes from practice. There is a difference between being confident & acting confident.

I'm aware of how considerate and talented he is; there's no need to convince me of that, and I knew about his troubles in the past with hate and false scandals. I didn't think to presume that he might have a low self esteem, and I acknowledge that my perspective as someone who admires him can cloud my judgement at times and make it difficult for me to believe that he would believe in the nonsense hate messages that idols do receive. I hope so too - I know that often idols are worked so hard that they don't get to see their family for sometimes years. I can't remember who it was, but I remember seeing some Kpop idol interviewed talking about how he hadn't managed to see him mum for years due to his training and schedule, and she came to see him at his concert (because he couldn't get time to see her), and it was weird because she'd got so old in the years he hadn't seen her. It also reminds me of that SM Rookies video where Johnny got a phonecall from his parents for his birthday and he just cried. ):

Yuta really saved parts of this interview - he doesn't realise that he himself is sooo charismatic on stage, and always just a really valuable member of the group (even if he gets like NO LINES, his dancing always really stands out to me). I WISH I could see him on stage - come to the UK! I hope that whatever's bothering Taeyong doesn't keep getting him down - I can relate, I have some days where I just can't make myself 'perform'.
