Carmen, aged 31, passed away from her short battle with cancer in October 2024. She left behind her two year old son, husband, & healthy parents. Throughout her short life, a few friends would mention to her about Jesus Christ, but she rejected any preaching of Jesus Christ. She would say she would believe if she saw Jesus Christ himself! One day she started to get very ill. She went to the docs to get reports on why she was quite ill. After a few tests, doctors diagnosed her with terminal cancer. She didn’t have long to live. She would be in the hospital, and that was where she would have two encounters with God. One evening she had a dream where she fell off from somewhere and a figure extended His hand to save her. She saw a male figure which seem to give a radiant of light. She kept thinking that this might be the Jesus Christ that her friends would tell her about in the past. It was soon she started to believe that this figure was indeed God (Jesus Christ). Not long after she had an actual near-death experience where Jesus Christ was about to take her away to bring her up to heaven. But she refused to leave this world & came back to life briefly. She shared both encounters with her love ones letting them know that Jesus Christ is indeed real. This was her dying wish to let them know this truth so they too will believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior & go to heaven. Very soon after, she left this world. Carmen’s godly encounters should convince you that Jesus Christ is real. She waited until her final moment to accept Jesus Christ as her Savior. Please don’t wait until your final breaths to possibly accept Jesus Christ as your savior.

The survivors were both flight attendants, who were in the tail of the plane. They were facing the rear of the plane and strapped in with shoulder harnesses. This protected them from the full blast of the fire and from being thrown forward. They were very lucky, but the recovery will be long and difficult.

what an absolutely insane design for an airport runway.. why the hell is there a concrete wall right at the end of the runway? You would think they would have something like a sand trap to slow down aircraft that can't stop in time.

My cities airport runway is just a wired fence at the end and then fields and fields. Their design is shocking
@paperplane-db8qf3 күн бұрын
It’s not an insane design. There are airports built on cliffs, or in the middle of cities. There’s a brick fence surrounding the airport a 100 feet away from this wall. Airports don’t always have kms of runoff just in case of a situation like this.
@lawrencedavidson61953 күн бұрын
@@paperplane-db8qf The perimeter fences around airports are designed NOT to cause any serious damage to airplanes that overshoot the runway. They break away easily to allow for emergencies.
@simonphoenix37892 күн бұрын
@@kristianawilson5996 yeah as much space as possible seems like a good alternative if you have it. But even if you are short on space, putting something there that would cause a lot of friction and slow the aircraft down seems like an obvious thing to do, especially in case of aircraft like this that are doing a belly landing and can't brake or whose engines are gone and can't reverse. Sadly this aircraft seemed to be suffering from both those issues at once.
@simonphoenix37892 күн бұрын

The dumbest people to have the idea of building a solid wall at the end of the airport runway. They might think that the wall can stop any plane that might run overshot the runway. Very sure that this tragedy could have many more survivors if there wasn't a wall there.
@Ann-hm7gj3 күн бұрын
It was an emergency landing though. The pilot was instructed to land on the opposite direction so how he landed caused him to crash into that wall. He was supposed to circle around but it was an emergency

i think the plane had many other technical, issue which we don't know about, cause by the bird strike,...anther..expert..has said that the plane came down much later, and the runway distance, was much shorter, because of this, meaning that it reach the end of the runway, at a much greater speed, people are blaming the wall, that's a fair point, but the technical fault had a large part to play as well

Main thing I’m not seeing in video or comments…a giant concrete barrier at the end of the run way caused the plane to impact and explode. Multiple sources say this is an insane barrier to have at the end of the runway. Pilot landed the plane with minimal damage and everyone could have been saved, were it not for a giant damn concrete structure at the end of the runway.
@_JustArandomMultistan_3 күн бұрын
Ikrr that's what I was thinking. Why was there a fat concrete wall at the end of the runway? That was the main reason for all the casualties
@Jomo-x6n3 күн бұрын
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requires that structures near runways and aircraft movement areas are frangible, meaning they can break or yield when struck by an aircraft. The wall therefore did not comply with ICAO regulations. Bird strike or not, ultimately it was the wall that plane crashed into. There will be a class action against the South Korean Government for breach of ICAO safety requirements.
@queenlip61523 күн бұрын
1) one expert says the airplane was travelling too fast and would likely have suffered extensive damage even without the concrete barrier. 2) Korea's deputy transport minister has said that the concrete barrier (a) passed safety rules/inspections (b) had no bearing in the accident. 😳

@helensnowden55173 күн бұрын
I want to know why he was given the go-ahead to land from the wrong end of the runway by air traffic control knowing that the structure was there to start with?. Did the pilot not know that the landing gear hadn't deployed and was going so fast thinking he could take off again before he would hit it?. I have been in a similar situation in 2012, but fortunately the pilot and crew got the gear down on the 3rd attempt to land and we were all safe. I know the fear those passengers and crew would have been going through after the first attempt failed. It's something you don't quite forget - even as a survivor.

Arguably, from my armchair, the pilot could have forced the plane down a lot earlier. It only touched ground at the very end of the runway. I'm not denying the wall wasn't an issue, but if the pilot had forced the plane onto the runway alot earlier it would have started to slow down alot sooner perhaps.
