In 2018 I hiked up Bukhansan with my husband, and we noticed so many aunties with full faces of makeup (which obvs is weird when youre gonna be sweating a lot). The next day we went out with friends and I told them about it and they said old people have been going to the mountains to cheat for a long time. So apparently, this is a long running and pretty common thing lmao.

Soooo I was in an international hiking group in Korea it was started by an older Korean man (he is a very kind man and every one in the group speaks well of him so he most likely just wanted a real hiking group) years before I joined. I told one of my Korean friends about the group and he warned me to be careful of married Korean men looking for women to sleep with, and they are probably even more excited about this group because there are some foreign women in the group, so it’s very unlikely their wives will find out.

I don’t understand. The law is that with proof the wife can divorce her husband for cheating. I think it’s a lot more complicated in the US, for example. A pic of the hotel, the woman, the trash, and the receipts from all the hours in the hotel, and maybe that’s enough to divorce his cheating a$$.

@ not saying proof isn’t the best. But got the impression (maybe incorrectly) that divorce is hard without proof. I know some folks who didn’t have proof. Knew one lady whose husband admitted it but wouldn’t in court, didn’t have proof and the folks who knew wouldn’t step up for her. She was from a culture that made her believe it was a sin to divorce without proof. Not even talking money law suit or award. Although I’m sure that’s always part of the consideration. So when I said the law should change… I meant someone should not have to stay shackled to a liar and cheat unless proof. The more I see videos like this I realize cultures are very different. Sure a culture that makes divorce like going to the market on the way home from work any given Tuesday isn’t good. But… it does seem incredibly hard in SK. ❤️‍🩹

I’m suing everyone! Would use all his money to hire lawyers and investigate once I found out behind his back. Hopefully, he won’t find out. I would never confront a cheating spouse or his side chicks. At a certain point you know his cheating and I would leave it up to the court.
