And sometimes they even count in friends so you might have an auntie that was your dad's cousin's friend that was in the same middle school as your mother so everyone knows each other. AND the people from the same village or town. At the same time, I have to admit that having visited various countries around Europe, our food _is_ pretty bad on average. I love a good Sunday roast with all the trimmings, but there's not that much of a food culture. I feel like we're improving in recent years, but if you want good stuff here then you have to go to a decent restaurant (or a dedicated home cook). Whereas in somewhere like Spain or France, I can go to a random cafe or sandwich shop on a side street and get something really good, whereas if you do that over here you're more likely to get instant coffee and unseasoned cold cuts lol.

For people who think that just because one Asian doesn't find some of these memes racist means all Asians feel that way: people who are hurt by Asian stereotypes are mainly Asian immigrants living in the US/Europe/Australia, who face racism much more frequently than their counterparts living in Asia surrounded by other Asians. When stereotypes are thrown in your face in ways that are meant to be demeaning for your entire life, those stereotypes aren't funny anymore.

Most common Asian stereotype is indeed that all Asians are very smart (a compliment really) The German lady - "Im offended" No coincidence the most common German stereotype is that they have absolutely no sense of humour lol
