The MV has a message, each character is portraying somehing that most youngsters nowadays are facing. Akira (the one who cried)- mental health issues Nate (the one with blood on the side of his lips) -Bullying and violence Jl (the one who looked bored) _social media addiction Mikki (the one who threw a paper) - academic pressure Gelo (bathroom/bathtub) - Identity crisis These boys want to spread positivity, empowerment, self-love and determination.

BGYO is derived from the Filipino word Bagyo which means storm. Their producer wanted their name to sound international but still resonate to the locals. Below is the actual meaning of the acronym. Be the change Go further You and I Originally filipino

Gelo, Akira, Mikki and Jl are 19 years old, the youngest is Nate his 17 years old. They train both in Philippines and South Korea by MU DOCTOR. They train for 2 years before they debut (January 29, 2021) Hope you react to their live performances in ASAP.

They weren't trained in Korea, they were trained in the Philippines specifically, bahay ni kuya, SHA house and the boys own house, tho they were trained by both Filipino and Korean coaches.

Thank you for reacting to BGYO's MV. The guy in the bath tub scene and also with orange inner shirt on the balabal hari inspired coat/robe is the group's leader. His name is Gelo. The tv series Meteor Garden 2001 is from Taiwan the first tv series adaptaion of the japanese manga Hanayori Dango( boys over flowers).. yeah the 1st scene showing the quote and the last part has meteor garden vibe!

The song has a very good meaning. I find it inspiring and empowering. Kudos to BGYO for choosing to debut with this song. They could have chosen to use a song that follows the trend in the PH Music Industry but they did opt to go with something that speaks about empowerment, encouragement and self-love. They really want to go beyond what being an 'idol' is. They want to be someone the younger generations can look up to. May their light shine even brighter!!! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

Fun Fact :The Concept of MV is not just a performance video. Per member have these different problem. Aki - mental health Nate - bullying and violence Gelo - identy crisis Mikki - academic pressure Jl - social media addiction So it's very relatable. This MV shows that they're really searching for the light amidst the darkness, only to find out in the end that the light is always been inside of us. The song and the MV is telling us about today's issues and emphasises the importance of working hard and believing in ourselves to make positive changes to the world. Some fan pointed out a few hidden references to filipino politics in the MV. It's like they're using inspirations from national heroes ( or history) to inspire the youth of today to address the issues. Not sure if it's true but if it is that's pretty cool. It's actually brave too cos these issues are sensitive topics..
