SB19 trained in the Philippines under a Korean company. If you look at their discography, their songs are influenced by many (not just kpop) genres. You have american/european music, rap, r&b and opm.

@@RiceSquad Hi. Thanks for introducing PPOP to your friends. Regarding SB19's training, I got my info from their many interviews. One was the Go Up press conference where the boys mentioned that they only went to Korea to record their song. Also, during their interview with Push (Sep 25, 2019 around 5:21 in the video), when asked if they trained in S. Korea, they said no. They trained here in the Phils.

Thank you for this RV/POV. BGYO is definitely a complete package. They got the looks, talent, and most of all great personality. Their humility is admirable, and they keep on improving their crafts. They also composed some of their songs and in due time am sure they will do their own choreos. Given that they are barely out of being teens, expect that in the coming years, they will emerge as a force to reckon with in the Philippine music industry. They are very forthcoming too with their comments and that's always a good thing. PPOP is definitely new, we barely scratched the surface but I don't think it's impossible for us to be more well known globally. Time and consistency are determining factors. Talent and drive are not lacking here. We just need more support from fellow Filipinos to appreciate our groups more. And we're getting there. @@imyourfather6828 nagustuhan nila kasi hindi tunog kpop, mas westernized and ala masyado make up ung bini and bgyo kaya mas mukha silang natural n pnoy n gwapo at magaganda. Tas mas napakita nila ung dancing skills daw like ala trick to pretend they can dance. And that's actually good kasi un namam talaga goal ng bini and bgyo eversince, gusto nila ung system in term of training how to sync pero they want to deviate from kpop image (reason kung bat bawal sila magkulay ng matitingkad) din and I'm glad nakita nila esp koreans kasi sila naman talaga nakakaalam ng kpop and themselves seeing bini ang bgyo diff from them is an achievement in terms s goal nila.

Why because they are just people. Sometimes when their fellow Filipinos have called sb19 all ugly names in the book and never seeing past the Korean visual standard even after their achievements their supporters will always be up in arms. Other groups were chosen for their visuals mabuti na Lang Pinoy sila at talented pa. Sb19 has said they do not care anymore what people say but the fans will always be protective human and not perfect. A’tin here
