A lot of moms wake up like that because raising children train their mind that their child's need is usually related to crying, vomiting, sleepwalking, etc. If your mom wakes up like that, love her extra she likely woke up a lot through your life to watch over you.

Yes, when I 1st fall asleep I usually won’t wake up until I’ve slept 12hrs, the only thing I’ll wake up from every single time without fail is my son, whether he’d crying,waking up or standing outside the door saying mama in a low tone...💕 I can also wake up from my cats if they sleep in my room & I lock the door to not Get disturbed ...bc I know they may need to use the litter or Get food (though they’ll usually sleep as long as I do) It’s both intution & quick reaction (especially when he started walking & when he was able to open the grind or put a chair infront of it(which was really dangerous bc there was a staircase behind it).

I don’t wake up with the deep breath in like that... but I will spring up at the slightest sound of my boys. I feel like mums get super hearing as a talent once they have babies, because not only can you hear the slightest whimper from your child... you will also be able to distinguish their cry from another baby’s, you will be able to work out how badly (or not) they are hurt & what the problem might be with HOW they cry and if you are in a public place and hear them shout “mummy” “mama” etc. You will know in your heart if it’s your child.
