I feel like they don't understand that American music is really influenced by black American music and black music is heavily influenced by African music. Whenever they say it sounds like American music it kinda confuses me because to me, I feel like American music is emulating African music. Idk.

A lot of hip hop sampled songs from an insane array of genres. Timbaland for example almos exclusively sampled Arabic songs without really crediting them lmao. I mean everything influences each other and when you're not a huge music head you wouldn't necessarily know these things about continents that are so far away from them and how their musical history has progressed. I am Kenyan descent but I am just happy to see a positive African man like Okyere doing big things and promoting awareness S. Korea. That Johnny song is *so* catchy! I was fortunate to hear it last year or so after seeing it recommended somewhere. After seeing the last video, I knew the cutesy romantic depiction would appeal to some of their sensibilities more. I love your videos. I like the fact that you have Korean friends. I love Korean web series. When I talk about visiting Jehu island someday people say Koreans might not be as friendly as they are in their movies well you just trumped that idea. I don't mind that they don't get all the video but we do have some similarities in our way of life.....and one key one is respect got elders/parents. Coming to Korea someday.
