"görüşürüz" doesnt mean "goodbye" in Turkish, it means "we will see each other" or simply "see you". "goodbye" in Turkish is "güle güle (git)" if you are the staying one or "hoşçakal" if you are the leaving one.

@tahiroglu9955 So you say "See you" is also a "Goodbye" :-) Yerine kullanılabilecek olması, sözcükle aynı anlamı taşıdığı anlamına gelmez, değil mi ? Bu arada "güle güle" ve "hoşçakal" ın kullanılıyor olması Türkçe'nin ifade gücünü gösterir, bu sözcükleri kullananın kalıyor mu gidiyor mu olduğunu anlayabilirsin.

Turkish is not as hard to learn as u believe at least if you want to speak more or less fluent. I've lived a year in Türkiye 2006/2007 in Kahramanmaraş and catched almost more than basic. Although I just learned it all by myself with a little pons dictionary it worked properly. With nowadays language apps it should be even easier. Yazmıyorum çünkü bunu zor buluyorum. Ama çok fazla konuşmayı da unutmadım. To learn a language means to live a language. Live with the natives, surround urself with natives and you can learn any language in a blink. Fighting! ✊️🫶

In Turkish, letters and words are generally pronounced as they are written. Unlike English, there are no changes in how letters are read. For example: The letter A is always pronounced as a in Turkish. It doesn’t sound like e as it sometimes does in English (e.g., in the word apple). The letter E is always pronounced as e and never as i (like in the word he in English). The letter I in Turkish is pronounced as ı (a sound similar to a dark "uh"). It’s never pronounced as i or ai (as in island in English). The letter İ (with a dot) is pronounced as i and doesn’t change its sound in different contexts. In English, however, the way words are written often differs from how they are pronounced. For instance: The letter C can be pronounced as k (cat) or s (city). The letter A may sound like e (apple) or ey (name). The letter O can have varying pronunciations like o, a, or u (go, not, move). In Turkish, such inconsistencies don’t exist. The letters have fixed sounds, and the harmony between writing and pronunciation is seamless. For example: Words like araba, çocuk, and elma are read exactly as they are written. Even foreign-origin words are adapted to fit this system, such as televizyon, telefon, and şoför. This feature makes Turkish easier to learn and much more systematic compared to many other languages. 😊

Actually he is saying correct about Kaymak. If it is made from a baby milk (a cow’s first milk after she gave a birth) there is way too much milk fat in it and it is very delicious. It is also very valuable and you can’t find it all the time. It only happens when a cow gives a birth and someone takes its first milk. It becomes much more delicious when you put kaymak and honey on the topping of a slice of bread. Yummy 🤤
