Also Cathy, MBK Dani and Heo Chanmi as well it was odd how they cut out their screen time as season 1 went on they only focused on debuting contestants so it's definitely been rigged since season 1 the same way Somi got an A during her audition which was hardly worth an A she also got into a fight with someone during broadcast but it was never aired. This show was literally rigged since its debut. They gave too much attention to Chungha in season 1 now that I think back you can tell who was debut line up cause some girls really should've gotten a better chance at debuting in season 1. And the girl from starship Yunjeong she actually wasn't supposed to be in ioi Nayoung was supposed to be in ioi but it made for a better plot twist and more drama Yunjeong was really controversial in the beginning and fans didn't like her during the debut of ioi I can say with confidence out of everyone in ioi she had the least fans and then they always let the more beautiful or handsome member debut when they're already in a group. That's been happening since season 1 which is why Chaeyeon got into ioi and Cathy didn't the DIA member girls they only took one and it was the more pretty one just like with Minhyun and Wooseok smh and it's usually the rapper who gets snubbed Cathy, Jonghyun and Jinhyuk are all Rappers who were snubbed their positions. I don't think I'll watch another season of produce its to unfortunate and bogus. Like produce x 101 was sooooo rigged it was obvious which is why that short MBK boy was always 9th shit made no sense I'm happy for Seungyeon but that's it.

This level of complacency takes years of overconfidence to show itself. They must have rigged it so often, so long, that they didn't even bother vetting the numbers of the polls anymore. Thinking there is fairplay in reality TV, especially Korean ones, are we fools? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Perhaps the first few years it was honest, but after that people started to game the system and cracks started to show, producers needed to bring in something new every year and that's how rigging happens.

A lot of people in Europe think that Produce X 101 was rigged from the start as mainly future winners or favourites had screen time already during the first videos released. What i think of it? Meh, let's see what the police come up with... Counting on you for an update when ever there is one available ;-) I must admit that the mathematical/formula's theory is quite interesting though!

Hahaha Knew it was riggid when... 1) only one of debut group member can redebut. Look at minhyun-jonghyun, wooseok-jinhyuk. 2) starship trainees seems like get special care. Its not that they re not good, but wonyoung being no 1 instead of sakura? Most of starship trainees being top20 in pdx101? 3) Rank 14 curse is too fishy. Nayoung, jonghyun, gaeun n jinhyuk all from top rank before the final. Suddenly not in debut line? 4) Pdx101 - the trainees relate to YG does not even get screen time although some trainees have high no of viewers in naver/KZbin. Btw, the formula is quite interesting. Feel like they just play around trainee's dream & hope.

Actually for the 4th point I might disagree; YG trainees (including Midam) were much more popular internationally rather than in Korea. The reason for the high number of viewers in NAVER/YT is because of the international fans watching the fan cams but Korean fans didn’t really have an interest in them and it’s the Korean fans who vote. I do agree that YG trainees didn’t get a lot of screen time though because the only time you really saw them was when they were backstage waiting for their votes to come up on screen.

Not gonna lie I don’t believe Wonyoung got the first place rightfully and Sakura would have got it but she was Japanese and Yuri‘s sudden rise was always suspicious as the others weren’t mostly known for great vocals and she carries Izone‘s vocals now

It's obviously because Izone needs a main vocal. Kaeun won't be there since she doesn't fit Izone's concept. I think Sakura and Kaeun is more accurate. Also, Hyewon debuting when she doesn't have the much large of a fanbase, though Minju is understandable. Ranks too kept jumping 20 places up or down, like when Miyu was suddenly fighting for 30th place. Chowon too won't fit Izone. I think without the rigging, I'm pretty sure Kaeun and Miru would debut. I actually love Izone, I'm not hating them but I knew produce series were rigged even from produce s2.

I support this season's final line up. I love all of them however I am also sad about Jihnyuk,Yuvin, Dohngyun. I just wish all the best for them. Tbh I am worried that this issue might affect and hurt X1 members that's why I want it to stop and I am sure no more 5th season for produce 101. It is sad, I really enjoyed and liked the show. It is inspiring and will show you why being an Idol is not like walk in the park.

Remember Eunsang name called for ‘X’ seats, he is not smiling....I only can see his face of guilt (might be because he thought that place for Jinhyuk) he cried at the end of the programme. It is different from Ha Sung Woon, when he was announce for the number 11 seat in Produce 101 Season 2. The voting issue brought up again, the X1 member must have been reading it, they have mixture of feeling. They might be feeling sad with this eventhough it is not their fault.

Umm Eunsang has always been ranked high, after the 5th rank was shown people thought it would be Eunsang but it wasn’t, so eveyone by then knew mnet had a trick and it would be putting Eunsang as X for a high profile x, (which was later exposed) I’m late but Eunsang was also robbed off his place, the real rankings said he should’ve been 6-8!

Thank you for this, I didn’t understand what was going on. From this, I do believe that the votes were manipulated. Especially because a lot of similar shows end up sharing the fact that the votes never really count. It’s also unfortunate that those that have debuted will have to face the fact that they probably didn’t get into top, fairly. I recently re-watched produce 101 season 1 (ioi) just for the heck of it, and this controversy was in the back of my mind, and I realised that in the first battle evaluations where they gain 1000 votes, all of pledis, jellyfish and fantagio got over 100 on scene votes, whilst the average was like in the 40’s. I understand that some of them were popular, such as yoojung because she was centre in pick me, so I from jyp because of sixteen and maybe sejeong because she seemed popular due to screen time, but for the rest of them it literally didn’t make any sense, I was really confused. It’s obvious that the strategy for season 1 was to debut girls from big companies, and I was surprised that chungha was barely shown until the bang bang episode (with the exception of her infamous audition). That’s why I 100% agree that it’s rigged, which is so stupid because if they let people vote, then the group that comes out will be a group that the people will like.

Atleast from the start I knew that Kim Yohan(stage presence) , Kim Wooseok(visual + talent) and Song Hyungjun(his screentime) will make it. I was doubting Gu Jungmo since the beginning that he’ll debut because he reminds me of an angel look/refreshing vibe that Ahn Hyoseob had (I just love to follow some patterns from S2 lol) Lee Jinhyuk starts to remind me of Jonghyun during Boss because he has a leader vibe and during the X position battle, it solidified my intuition. There I started to doubt that he’ll make it. He’s the type that MNET can rob position. When Yohan and Wooseok fought for 1st place in the last episode. We knew that it’ll be Yohan. MNET will never let a debuted trainee from a ‘failed’ group to become a centre

It's definitely rigged. But, I do think the companies play a major role in voting. They know they have to give their trainee to another company for a period of 2.5yrs, why take the risk? Let them get popular on the show and pull them out. Or let them debut and use their popularity later. Ofcourse small companies won't have much opinion in the final lineup, but larger ones? Probably.

I never watched any of those shows but I'm sure there is definitely some rigging or score charting criteria that isn't publicly shown. Numbers don't magically line up like that unless someone else puts a criteria to make that happen. The winners probably had a weighted score that the producer wanted to pick the winners instead of a pure vote.

They probably did it for all... idk if you saw the Treasure box audition on KZbin but pretty much the final say on who wins went to the CEO even after the audience voted for the majority. They could do this outright since it was KZbin but they couldnt do this on TV... so they probably changed the votes on the side to get who they want.

this is why they have more screen time for certain people. it increases the likability and popularity of them so that when they rig the votes, it will just be slightly disappointing but viewers will have the illusion that it is like that because they already have so many fans.

They are always rigged one way the other. More prominent and powerful companies can always pay/sponsor the show behind the scenes to pull strings and request more camera time for their trainee. Don’t you always wonder how some of the kids always seem to be on camera while there are others you haven’t even seen before?

Unfortunately nothing new, rigged votes rumors had always circulated and only now has it really been shown to light. The group popularity will be harmed by this issue, but tbh not for long everyone will forget and go on like usual. Won’t hate the group it’s not their fault, but mnet and the shady others who pulled strings.

It's obviously rigged, I will support X1 but mnet needs to reveal the real votes, some people spent money to vote to some trainees who didn't make it, it's illegal. I like almost the hole X1 line up but Jinhyuk and Mingyu would have been in the group too according to their popularity, probably its better to Mingyu don't being part of X1 because he wasn't prepare but votes are votes, and that's how it works. I hope the final line up wouldn't change because it will be unfair for those members who would be out of X1, but at least Mnet has to do something about it. I'm sorry if I had any mistake, English isn't my first lenguage 😅
