Steve-san mentioned that “日々前進”, “Go forward every single day”, is encouraging me for surviving with COVID-19 world. I hope someday you all will be coming to Japan and take some video, might be at chicken farm, I’m looking forward to see that.

I think my family has only ever owned Japanese cars lol. This video was hella inspirational, even if I wasn't necessarily expecting it to be!

The most impressive thing about Steve-san is that he created a fully bilingual son named Alex (who's frequently on his channel speaking Japanese with his dad) while entirely living in the United States. That, my friends, is extremely hard to do. That means that both parents only spoke Japanese to Alex at home while he learned English at school. I wish I had a father that could do that, but alas, most foreigners that worked in Japan, either back then or today, are NOT like Steve-san, so now I have to pick up the pieces on my own to learn the language of my mom.

Sometimes, Japanese people tell me that my name reminds them of the 日産・セドリック (Nissan Cedric). It's crazy how Japan has exported so many cars. There are millions of cars in North America that came from Japanese car companies. Certainly, I would like to thoroughly explore the Japanese car world one day, just like Steve.

The video title implies that studying japanese was the low point of steve's life 😅
