I'm happy to be of help! DSN-12 is built on the same synthesis engine as DS-10, so most of the stuff I do in these videos work for DSN-12, too. But, I have received some requests to make a DSN-12 song making video now, so I'll give it a shot in the future.

I recommend DSN-12 for the 3DS since it's an overall improved version of DS-10.

Anthony Seeha but im hearing 10 better for preprogrammed samples. Re 12 I don’t want to make everything from scratch or do they have pre programmed samples to? Also does 10 or 12 have solid vocal samples I need more information to decide between the two please. I used to use cubase back in the day and I love my ps2 music maker.

@@riccccccardo Neither DS-10 nor DSN-12 have samples in them, the only premade content you'll find is a bunch of presets for the synths. Perhaps you mean KORG M01D? That one is purely sample based but you won't be able to shape the sounds nearly as much as with the DS-10 or DSN-12.
