Thank you for sharing this Anthony! This really is amazing! And all this in half an hour. Gosh I still have so much to learn! The X/Y controller is my favourite at the moment, so many creative ideas flow from this. I don't have a webcam or smartphone to film my performance but I'll find a way to share some of my tracks too. Can you use two stylus pens at the same time for the keyboard? Seems like it would make it easier for chords, etc🤔

DS-10 is basically a group of monophonic synthesizers, so it can only produce one note at a time when using the touch screen keyboard.

That sound was made on the drum kit. Since DS-10 creates samples for the drum sounds, you can change the pitch in the piano roll to make new sounds. What you heard was a high pitched snare that sounded like additional percussion!

so you can only have 2 instruments and 4 drums per beat? or can you add more?

The newer versions of DS-10 allow for more space to make sounds simultaneously. KORG DS-10 has 2 instruments and 4 drums. KORG DS-10 PLUS, an upgraded DSi version, can have 4 instruments and 8 drums. KORG DSN-12 for the 3DS can have a total 12 instruments, drums included!

I used the emulator DeSmuME on my PC and my iPad to screenshare so I could use the touch screen.

The DS-10 app is great. The 3ds versions seem to have ruined the live aspect, am I right in thinking this is one of the earlier versions, the DS-10 or DS-10 plus?

A work around in dsn12 is to avoid the "live mode" and just do live at the pattern screen. You have quicker access to other controls that way. But im happy with live mode and 4 banks at 64 notes you could dj 4 tracks easily.

Yep, I'm using DS-10 in this video! Out of the entire DS-10 family, Song Mode in Korg DS-10 Plus is definitely the best tool for live performances.
