wow You are one heck of a keyboard player. I loved your lead melody and the way you played it on the Kross. There were times it really felt like you were playing a guitar. You have incredible speed. Most impressed!!! The keyboard is at such a funny angle? is that so we could see your hands? it looks like it would be harder for you to play that way (although one couldn't tell from your wonderful performance!!) Can't wait to hear more from you and this keyboard!!

I have a question: does the keyboard have any "built-in" styles when you purchase it, or does it only have the different sounds and you have to build up the background music for each song that you want to play yourself?

superb one bro..1 question to my fellow korg kross users.how can I separate out the vocals from the instrumental layer when both are recorded paralelly from the audio recorder? As I want to process the vocals after recording is done
@RoseBananee
@RoseBananee 7 жыл бұрын
Ouuhh That's one hell of a Question, I never actually Tried the audio recorder loll I'd reccomend using a Software like Cubase or Sonar.. a Sequential software so you can record seperatly everything. Then u export to have your Own songs on your computer instead of having Recorded stuff on the Keyboard itself. You have way more possibilities and this is more independant.. I wish it helps, If not, ask me anything So I can help you Buddy ^_^

Absolutely, get the Pulse Lead and add some HiGain disto in the master effect, you can also add the effect TalkingMod. Youll get there 😁😇
@nbuehster
@nbuehster 4 жыл бұрын
@@RoseBananee I haven't checked that out yet. But if you want epic, (not to mention realistic) 1. Combi mode 2. Guitar 3. Killer Guitar (Make sure both lights are on.) EDIT: I just looked through all the leads on my keyboard, and I can't find a "Pulse Lead". Is that a lead that's on the older Korg Kross, but not on the newer version?

hahaha thanks, but I don't play any guitar.. actually Guitar is sooo hard to play versus Keyboard loll
@eltouristoduo
@eltouristoduo 8 жыл бұрын
yeah starting at .08, those arpeggios and tap scales, how did you learning that then, by ear?, slowed down dissection, etc? Yeah I feel the same way about guitar, just play it a little.
@RoseBananee
@RoseBananee 8 жыл бұрын
Actually, all this stuff is from my written/produced songs, I played the Drums and everything you hear. lolll So I just practiced and I know my scales and Chords. Hope that helps =/
@eltouristoduo
@eltouristoduo 8 жыл бұрын
Oh wow! It all sounds great! Anyway yeah when you say 'I know my scales and chords, well you seem to know guitar scales and chords for the hammer-ons and arpeggios. Hmm I thought I read you said you don't work with midi? It can be hard to combine midi and audio tightly. Midi can sound rigid etc if you don't find a way of not letting it do that. It's a deep subject itself, just begins at things like 'partial quantization'. Midi can get in the way of having such good chops and creativity, but of course it can be a great way of having a record for notation but especially for the notes that you can then try other sounds on, even if you don't want to edit the midi. It not a cheat if you don't let it be. Just like correctly one bad note here and there if you want not about making it different. I kinda doubt you would use it as a crutch being such a strong player.
@RoseBananee

Awesome bro! What number do you set velocity curve in global media?
@RoseBananee
@RoseBananee 4 жыл бұрын
Great question! I always let it to 9. For me its easier to play with the feelings, Because i think that 1 has a too large band of velocity, and I dont wanna smash hard the keyboard when i want a 100% velocity on certain notes. Gosh I hope i'm clear, feel free to ask anything you want my friend :)

How did you go about making the "Pete's Awsome Lead"?
@RoseBananee
@RoseBananee 6 жыл бұрын
Its a technique on keyboard with "Mono" sounds, which means the sound can't play 2 notes at the same time. So If you keep the sustain pedal active and you do as i do, it sounds like a guitar Tapping. I can actually reach about 24 note per seccond if it's a good day
@coltonmajors5330
@coltonmajors5330 6 жыл бұрын
Les Sentinelles du Nord I understand that part of it, I was asking about the actual sound or "tone" you're using. Is that a preset that is already on the keyboard, or did you make it yourself?
@RoseBananee
@RoseBananee 6 жыл бұрын
Colton Majors it’s the same sound the whole solo, its a Square Lead Pulse sound. It sounds kinda like the same lead that Children of bodom and Stratovarius. Does that answer your question??
