still loving mine , I use it with Boss RC 505 mkII loop station , limitless possibilities , I look at all the new synths out there & so what ? This still does the business .

Love the synth engine in such a small package. And the orange case was the shit! 😄 Great demo! 👍

Great little synth - way more powerful than it looks - just like many of that era, a bit of pain in the butt to program sounds on (even with the provided patch editor). Came with great patches though.. pads and bass are strong - great hooked up to a full size keyboard. Debating whether to sell mine or not.

Dude I too own this one! If you do sell it do not just settle for a bs price this has a Trinton sound engine in it so it is worth a pretty penny for it!! Unless you need the money just keep it dude I love all of my synths they are like just part of me!!!

I recently bought one in UK for £160 , if that's about the going rate , then not worth selling .

@@PeterGarofalo that was a great deal - I got mine for 300 US. Actually the question on selling or not is not so much about money, just about not keeping tons of gear lying around un-used and minimizing studio complexity - especially where it's a piece of gear that doesn't have a great physical interface, in which case a soft synth may cover what it does equally well and with more convenience. FYI I develop Hyperion Synth plugin - which does a lot of the kind of pad/layered sounds I like on the MicroX.

Mine needs a new keyboard and volume control. Otherwise it's a keeper!😊

Sold mine. Regret of course. But we can't keep all gear in a life

The poorest quality hardware I've ever owned, too bad cos I liked the idea.

@@quantumeseboy "Synths I've watched KZbin videos about and now talk about online because it makes me feel like an expert" 🤣 You've probably never even touched a Korg Micro X and you're just repeating something you've read on a forum, admit it.

i have owned a few synths and there is stuff about the microx thats not cool with the build! I dont like the power input at the back! its always felt wobbly but never had an issue! its very plastic! side panels don't feel too good :) and I own a Moog! massive difference in build quality! the Korg Wavestate is built a lot better even though that one is also plastic :) Arturia stuff has a better feel than Korg stuff! I do feel the Microx always deserved a better build quality! I guess they kept cost downs! and it was very worth the money at its time of release! amazing what you got! sound wise!
