Killer review/demo man! Mad 80's riffage going on. I just picked one of these up at a pawn shop for $120 perfect condition. Now hitting up KZbin to learn how to use it. Stuff like this is really helpful.

This Korg Microstation helps me a lot in creating sound programs:-) very much like it's multi timbral function. Take note guys i sold my Roland keyboards/Yamaha MM6 just for this keyboards because those two can only produce maximum of 4 sounds unlike KoRg Microstation it can create 16 sounds for a single set of sounds. GOOD JOB KORG.:-)

This video was taken at my friend Nick's studio; it's his SV-1 and he plays out with it regularly in his (and my wife's) band Bad Rooster.

Very easy to play on the small keys. Great synth to use with a daw too, Korg provides a very good editor. Great product...

Dave, you are one of a kind. I cringe at most of the keyboard posts here but your posts are money! My gear line is 200a, 106, B-3, Voyager, micron, D6. I'm looking to play as duo with drummer. Do you have any advise? Should I make him play in time so I can sequence or just do everything live or sequence but adjust to accomodate the drummer? Thanks man. If I had any advise it would be for you to check out the RD-50 loop station. Keep it up man!!!

@Inverted314 I get used to it the first day. but not for fast chord progression. the price of portability
@Inverted31413 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure of the price. It's competitive with the Microkorg XL, but so close to the PS60. I'm digging the board, and the small size is interesting, but I just wonder if it would turn out to be more of a burden then it's usefulness.

That was a really nice demo... how would compare this to Korg MicroArranger? which one would be better?

Hi. I have a Roland and a Korg Keyboard. I like to use only 1 sustain pedal for both? Is there a way to use a MIDI cable to accomplish that? Or can I use a 1/4 Y cable splitter and connect both Keyboard to it so that they share a single sustain pedal? What is your solution to this? Thank you.

Just wondering if there is any swing/shuffle capabilities inside the sequencer? im considering getting one of these but I cant do without some sort of shuffle capabilities for my drum tracks. Also how is the quantize function on these things?
@ZachariahConnor11 жыл бұрын
I am drooling over that korg sv1 in backround. Is that yours Dave?
@RLbitClassica13 жыл бұрын
Quick question friend, when you say "quantize" the loop you made, is that when you make it to where the individual note inputs are set on preset "notches" within the bar? Sorry if my speech is confusing, but i had an alesis micron that did that very thing and i was wondering if that is the same thing.

Nice sound... but this "EDS-i (Enhanced Definition Synthesis - integrated)" not even close to the amazing fat "HI synthesis (Hyper Integrated synthesis system)" of Triton, X-50, etc. Thanks for the video!

question, hopefully you can answer this. is there a way so that when playing live, i can change from one preset quickly to another one without having to go searching through my microstation for them?

I have a question, what recording softwares would you recommend to use with this keyboard? I have windows 7 on my acer laptop and I'm trying to figure out what to buy. If anyone knows what would work well your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, im a 14y teen, whos been playing harp for 8 years, bass for 1 year, and want to start to play keys. i have no idea what to buy, and looking for +- 250 euros/300 dollars i still need to learn the technique, so is this a good one to start with? i want to use my keys in a band, like secondary for bass as primary, and use is for intro's and stuff. What should i get? Could anyone please help me with choosing something that is good to learn on (not to small keys) but useful live. Thanks!

Micro arrager if you play alone, Microstation if you want a fully editable sounds, the microarranger does not have a editor, wich is a huge advantage for the microstation,,, Microstation is alos betther for live performance

I think the Korg X50 sounds better for nearly the same price in de usedmarket.
@YouzTube995 жыл бұрын
Well, there are a LOT of differences: 1. X50 has full size keys, MS 'micro' sized. X50 is 8" wider but only 1.5" deeper. 2. X50 based on the Triton engine, MS on the M3/50. 3. MS is a workstation, X50 does not have a sequencer. 4. MS polyphony = 120, X50 = 62 5. X50 display quite useful, MS is basic. IMO, both sound good, just different.
