It certainly was fun figuring out how to get the MS20 talking to other gear in the modular domain. Probably the easier thing to do would be to use the midi out and put that into a midi to CV converter. But what’s the fun in that?!

I have a Behringer K2 clone of the MS-20, and it's a great alternative to the real thing if performance space is at a premium. I love the pitch-to-MIDI channel on this thing! I like to pop random field recordings into it and see what happens.

Beautiful synth! Thanks so much for the sample pack I am currently downloading. A synth rec for you- the Korg R3 Synth/Vocoder..some classic sounding korg patches and a cool vocoder and formant option..lots of potential to sound design too

how do you think is the ms20mini in terms of noise? when looking up this synth, one of the main issues i repeatedly keep seeing is ppl complaining about the noise leaks. saying that the old versions did not have it, etc. do you find it noticeable, and/or even to be an issue at times? is this something to be keep in mind, when buying this synth? or is this a non-issue once one is actually playing with it? seems hard to gauge how much this will bother here it sounds find to me tho :D hence me asking

what patch cables do you recommend, i need longer ones for patching between synths

The longer ones I used in this video are PORTECHA 90cm ones which I got from Amazon (90cm, Colourful, 8 pack) www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09962CTMX
