In case someone hasn't told you lately .... you are sick! Loved the way you played the strings and choirs in minor keys making it even more beautiful. Think I made a big mistake instead of buying a KORG or Kurzweil, I bought a Yamaha Montage 7 and Yamaha MODX. They have some wonderful sounds, but not anywhere near these sounds. Haven't really messed around with either, but that remains to be seen. Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate this. So much appreciated!

Hi Qui, Those sounds are very close (and great!!) as the ones you did on the Kronos! That simply proves your talent, in terms of programming keyboards, and then it shows the power of this PA 4X, even if i'd rather like the Yamaha arranger keyboards, easier to play, but certainly less powerfull in sound's edition. Netherless, it could be (maybe) different with the Genos to come...;) Regards. Mysterio FTS

Pa 1000 is better than PSR sx 900 pa 900 is good competition for PSR sx 900 and pa4x is better than tyros 5.... Sound quality and quantity is unmatched in the music world.......

you can download this sound set for free from my website www.quirobinez.nl search for the melliflous sound set for the pa4x. If you want to program it yourself, you have to create a new sound in voice mode and program the sound over there.

Hi. Great Sounds. Just One problem. The Violin STR QR doesn't seem to be playing correctly on my keyboard. The Violin tone is lacking. Only Strings are being played. Rest are all perfect. Can you please guide on why this is happening. Same is in the dry tones too. Just the Violin STR is not sounding correct

The only thing i can think off is that you are using the melliflous sounds on a Musikant or Oriental pa4x version. This set was developed on the international pa4x version. Otherwise i would have no idea why you are missing the violin samples in your rom library

Thanks for your reply Sir. But, I am using the international version of Pa4X. However, today while I was trying out the tone, I realized that I was getting the perfect tone at a particular touch pressure. At fixed velocity it sounded more like Ensemble Strings, but when I was striking at about 50% pressure, I was getting a perfect sound!!!

Korg is pending to dedicate more time to improve the chorus, the ones that bring none are as good as those of the Roland, BK5 a keyboard of 600 dollars that can be one of the best with the chorus samples, and I have a korg PA 1000 and a PA 4x, and even having the korg keyboards, I use the BK 5 in my performances of Ennio Morricone.

Morricone's music is the best of the best. One of my favourites was his soundtrack to Lolita. Very sombre tracks that are incredibly beautiful.

no not really, everything i wanted to do till now was possible (sometimes with workarounds), there are some things that could be improved, but those are small details (like the lfo speed can't self oscillate, which would add extra features for sound design, especially when creating EDM sounds)

it's a very fast LFO that you can assign to filters so that the filter itself starts making a sound, it's common used to create an extra sine or sound effect on a sound or for percussion like effects on sounds. Search on youtube for self oscillating filters to see more information about this. The pa4x maximum LFO speed is to slow to achieve this in the pa4x.

yes, the filter noise combined with the resonance causes the oscillation, but the lfo's are used for those special phaser effects and these lfos aren't fast enough to do that.
