you have to assign a number yourself to the song in the top right corner of the songbook, for instance the number 1234, then you can select that song with the midi nrpn parameters: MSB=2 LSB=64, for the song itself use the dataentry midi parameter: for 1234 it's MSB: 12 and LSB: 34 So In general, the songbook selection is NRPN 2, 64, the song in the songbook is your own number in the dataentry MSB and LSB. This is also described in the manual, so check that chapter to get further information about this.

@@quirobinez thank you for the tip on giving the entry a number. That said, I'm not having any results yet with sending from Cakewalk Sonar 7. They have entries for channel, kind (NRPN) Data and a blank heading where I can input more data. According to the manual, I have to have two NRPN events to put it into songbook read mode, and then the actual data sent as CC events. So I have a NRPN 99, 2, then NRPN 98, 64, then Control 6, 0 and Control 38, 1 (corresponding to songbook 1 entry. But the Pa5X ignores it.

I have no idea, I don't have the wavearts sound set, so I can't try to load them both, but I doubt that that will work to load them both at the same time

that is not a really simple task to create a tutorial for that, those keyboard sets are from my own sound sets for the Korg Pa5X and the level of programming for these kind of sounds is really difficult to explain. The sounds are created in other synthesizers (for that Gladiator example I've created new sounds in the korg wavestate, modwave and Access Virus TI), then these sounds I created are sampled and transfered to the korg pa5x as base samples, then the sounds are individually programmed in the pa5x synthesizer and then as the last step the keyboard set is created with those sounds and a different FX programming setup for the complete keyboard set. As you can imagine to show every step of this process would be way to complex and the explanation tutorial would be hours long if I really would show all the steps needed. So for now I have no plans to create tutorial for the more complex sampling area.
