Korg Pa5X Update 1.3.0 some issues and fixes

agreed with you this new update that has lot of “new” issues, however we should thank to Korg’s team for a bolt move from old Pa1x-4x system architech to new. Also, pubic beta tester is great idea, but I think Korg wants to keep it in secret. You have a great initiative, thanks

Appreciate your honest review and feedback to Korg. As you mentioned there is NO WAY to report to Korg and get their support other than the website which invariably contains outdated info. Hopefully, the engineering at Korg is listening to our feedback and taking it seriously to improve the quality of the software. The PA5X is no doubt a great piece of hardware, but it also needs some serious reliable SW to make it outshine. Thanks once again for your informative video; I'll check out the bug you reported and confirm it from myside too.

Ye but it needs to be a sampled guitar. This guitar is sampled in Major Minor Major7 and Minor7, what i mean is that when you play one note it plays Major7 or Minor7.

Faik I do appreciate your honest opinion about the product. You’re absolutely righ Korg must run it through you and you’re absolutely right you’re doing it free of charge for them. They should appreciate it as much as we do as a consumer Because I was a Korg user for a very long time I always watch your videos because you’re full of knowledge The reason I sold the 5X back because of the issues it had when they launched I was very unhappy after the new OS update. I decided to buy it again, but seems like there’s still issues and I checked it out, one more important issue that I see did not added step recording It’s very important. You don’t want to write a beat and go edit it manually for the quantization

Thank you. Korg is going to make those thing 4 shore. Step Recording and Quick Recording and more but it takes time. I strongly belive that they will launch a new update soon to fix some small issues with this latest update. Right now they have fixed many issues and this update is the best so far. You know what wuld be great😉 if they launch a Software so we can CODE our sets like Yamaha have for free or for a small amount, and ido belive that they willdo that in the future.

And i 4get to mention, when changing the styles from one to another it is late. The styles changes, but it steel plays the styles before that till it ands the beat

Adjust the cue mode and double check the compressor, limiter, maximizer attack time

One more issue I came across with KORG PA 5X when you insert a sample loop in percussion or drum. It doesn’t sync properly with accompaniments I think overall the midi system has an issue .

Ye i use to have same issue but i did it on pa4x than exported it to pa5x to make it work properly

Hi Faik, I believe Korg PA5X internal Midi has an issue with sample loops when I import loop samples in percussion or drum, it does distort the sound and doesn’t sync all the variations with Fill and intros properly and also it doesn’t chop the loops properly for an example 6/8 4/4 or 7/8 it chops samples in a weird number of slices very inaccurate. I don’t know if you have any issues with your keyboard.

hello 🤝korg pa 5 x is a good tool, just please pay attention to the version, the buttons have a light that does not light up, and this causes the button to crack, you need to do it so that when you press the button the light comes on, 9 regulators do not work until you raise or lower it to 127, thanks for understanding

You have it on parallel 5th and not parallel no transpose so of course it plays the 7th

Normal nuk duhet ngacmuar pianon nder kohë qe ajo ndizet sepse mundesh te shkaktoj qregullime sikur se tregon. Dhe me provoj flas sa ma gjat ta lesh pianon ndezum aq, ma mir. Un kam qe 6 apo 7 muaj qe fare nuk e fiku, vetem nese duhem patjeter
