Thank you soooooo much for this video. I was wondering if anyone had done a video going through every preset like you did. This is one nice key to play with EDM, synth solos and bass and strings. I don't really need one but after some videos I want one just to mess around here 😂

so glad it was helpful to you. I'm finding that these "every preset" videos are valuable to people so I intend to keep making them. I think as musicians we generally buy more than we "need", but I'm of the opinion that generally the more gear you have, the better. You never know what is going to come in handy for a song, or what might inspire a song. I've learned how to play instruments (e.g. lap steel, ukulele, mandolin) to an extent just by having them around the studio. You can't learn about what you don't have. Plus I'm not getting any younger, so if I'd like to experience something, now's the time.

I've been putting off replying to your question because I've been home for a couple caring for a post-surgery dog and not at the studio with my gear. The manual mentions "master effects' but annoyingly what those effects are is not specified. I recall there being delay for example, and I'd be surprised if there wasn't reverb. I'm usually running my keyboard gear without reverb from the PA so i think it would have stood out to me if the Korg patches were flat/dry

I would certainly think so. This band is a great example of keyboards and keytar use in a metal context. Though admittedly her keytar looks a bit cooler than the RK-100S. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIS6Zpp4m8mFlZo especially around 1:29

Но к сожалению указанные производители дальше чем эксперименты не продвинулись… Существующие сейчас модели не соответствуют современным задачам музыкантов и возможностям технологий. I have great respect for the pioneers of creating keytars Korg Yamaha Casio and others!!! But unfortunately, these manufacturers have not progressed further than experiments... The current models do not correspond to the modern tasks of musicians and the capabilities of technology. Functionally, aesthetically and technologically, there is not a single worthy keytar model! - It's a pity…

@@AlexandrTranteen well, I'm glad to know it's not my video you're commenting on... but the model itself. From an educator's standpoint, I find this keytar a perfectly useful tool for a cover band program
