This is exactly what I needed, thank you! Very noob-friendly. Do you think it's a big miss out to get this instead of a 49-key keytar? I was thinking about the extremely expensive Roland Ax keytar. Also, what's the difference between a synthesizer and a keyboard?

It only has 8 voices polyphony. I'm a little concerned about that. It sounds okay via KZbin, is it thin sounding live?

A little late but these were discontinued by KORG. However, if you wait a while longer - they had some new prototypes at NAMM 2019 and the rep there said they are likely to release them with good feedback. They seem to be in reasonable demand, so a new generation model might not be far away.
