I really enjoyed that Lo Fi sound as a character control. I think there are lots of fun special use possibilities there.

The 301DL has stereo output, using a TRS plug to 2X mono cable plugged into the out put jack sent to amps will really bring out the best of this pedal. Download the instructions from Korg and on the 2nd paragraph on the left side of the page explains the use of the stereo output cable.

Well done Brother! " I like that rockabilly boogie!" Korg has some great effects and is innovative in the music industry! Thanks for sharing Leon and Be Well All!

It’s a perfect delay pedal! A true piece of art. My brother had two of them and gave me one as a birthday present.

I had the Korg Toneworks 411fx from this same line of pedals. While watching this I went an found them used online. Only $100 which is more than I paid from Musician's Friand back in 1998. It did inspire a couple of songs though!

I thought it was pretty cool, I doubt I'd hunt it down but I saw it as a good price I'd add it to my collection. I like the dampening effect, that's something I've become addicted to since I picked up the Rocktron Replifex.

FYI - The "animal emblems" in this series of Korg Toneworks pedals are actually simulations of Peru's Nazca lines which were pre-Columbian geoglyphs etched into Peru's desert sands.

Did that ugly pedal really just inspire that insanely fucking beautiful ambient jam. I was just thinking yesterday about going back to watch you mess with some delays on your faithful Eclipse and this pops up. Up there with some of your best vids yet for that improv jam and because your just getting so damn good at making them- and courtesy of ToneWorks?!?!

Gear is so weird like that. Inspiration lurks where you last expect it sometimes, worth it for that sound alone!

I still have mine from the nineties. Stopped using it because it has eight functions and only four knobs. Which means the knobs do two functions each which means that they’re digital encoders. The problem is that it loses its settings when it loses power and then you have to set it all up each time you play. Also the in/out jacks stopped working and I had to get them repaired. On top of all of this it uses four aa batteries instead of a nine volt. I loved the sound just a crappy build by Korg

If you haven't tried the Seymour Duncan Andromeda I truly believe it would be right up your alley for delay tones. It has some of the best digital delay tones, modulation and multi mode intuitive ducking delay.

It's ok. Usable. Good thing it was cheap. I can't see where you would need it with the Fractal and other gear you have.

I wonder if a guy like you knows how the guitarist of Blind Guardian made his harmonized solo parts. I can't find anything on the web.

Seems way more versatile than my first gen digitech pedal. I like ducking. Missed having mod features on that one too.

There’s an EQ and a ducker… you don’t need a 2290 anymore 🙃😛
