so much love, i'd pay to hear this live. My favourite kind of music.

Don't regard to Skyler King's opinion, I've been viewing as many volca videos as possibly trying to decide whether to purchase them when they're released in the UK - this is EASILY the best thing I've heard so far, totally hypnotic! :)

I love your style. With the analog synths, it reminds me very much of the best of early video game music that I used to love as a kid. I'm a rock and roll guitarist, but I see the writing on the wall, and if my breed doesn't evolve, we're over. The more I look into electronica production, especially through analog, hands-on equipment like this, the more I think I can learn this style, and integrate what I already do into it in such a way as to remain relevant.

man i like this trak.. iv had all these little korg guys since they first came out but not focusing on them until now.. and im sure the many videos of these instruments are made by some talented folks.. far beyond my abilities to this point.. but this video is one of the few that steer away from the status quo squelchy tribe sounds.. tasty stuff man..kudos. i think ill roll this one again. (that french hornish sound that comes up throughout reminds me of my home town san francisco.. wherein if you are ever somewhere quiet.. anywhere in the city.. you can hear the fog horns in the distance.)

Hi Austin , when I got mine and started checking out the manual , I was a little bit worried. However after I skipped studying the manual , and just started messing around , they weren't as hard to get the hang of as I thought , and started making loops and learning pretty quickly.After that I started reading the , manual and learning each feature one by one which mad them even more fun...Just dig in and go wild...

Techno , cool I'll take it...I haven't had any musical education either. I used the Volca and Monotribe syncs only on this track , I don't own an Ipad , or I would definitely look into those apps...Thank you Joe...

Thank you Joe , it's amazing how a slower tempo can turn the same loop into a different genre , haha I appreciate the comment.

I would call this music Electronica, not Techno. Nice use of the Volca's by the way, your music is always inspiring.

Hi Britt! Thank you very much , I grew up in the '80s with Atari , Commodore 64 etc. so I think these sounds are deeply rooted in my DNA , I think a rock guitar , and electronic colab would be super cool , if you have any recordings I can produce something cool...Let me know if you're interested...

Hi Drumn incolor , that is a very technical question man , unfortunately I don't remember because I keep replacing the loops in the 8bank memory , I will try and investigate and let you know...Thank you for checking...

Very good demo! It's good to hear someone that play real music and not just bleeps and glurbs (even if I like it too) May I ask you a question? I'd like to know what is the range of the Filter EG intensity on the Keys and Bass : 0 to +100 or -100 to +100?
@joecamel300011 жыл бұрын
thank you especially for the fact that you use the volcas not in their "techno" ways as they are typecast mostly.

Well i asked my wife and she said that's clearly techno. i for my part find it too relaxed, swinging, easy listeningy for techno. but then again, i haven't had any musical education. by the way, did connect your volcas to some midi-sequencers on the ipad (like genome, nordbeat, koushion?)
