No worries Dave , you're right , it's was about 2 months ago when I made this. Now that I listen to it it does kinda suck. Thanks for checking it out anyway...

Ben Agreed with me. Criticism helps people. I should have been more specific and I was rude about it. Other than that, ya know, whatever. I wouldn't want people telling me I sound great when I don't.

Right on, man. I'm being honest. If I told it was great I'd be doing you a disservice. You have the production skills, the talent is there, I mean you're doing all the right things (with 3 basic pieces of gear and without any fancy post-editing) but you and I both know this isn't quite where you want to be. I'm listen to Warp records stuff, this doesn't make that grade. I don't know what you listen to, but, it's a bit more interesting and crafted than what you've done here?

Ok so my comment was abrasive. This piece of music needs to be developed further. It's too basic. These 3 machines, while being limited, are capable of more than this. Even just programming-wise, without the live playing stuff.

Great music, benweichiba! One question: at 2:52 you trigger a lead that has kind of a glissando effect (if that's what it's called), in that the notes seem to blend into each other. Is that the Volca Bass? How exactly do you get that effect, and can you do that on the Keys too? Reminded me of the GTA San Andreas theme tune :) I'm planning on getting the Beats and the Keys, so checking out all kinds of music people make on them. This track was a refreshing change from all the hardcore techno out there!

Having watched dope vids such as this, I've decided to treat myself and invest in a Beats, Bass and Keys. The only limitation/s I anticipate are the absence of swing and the limitation (Keys excepted) to 1 bar loops. I want to make Dub and G-Funk rap beats so any tips/tricks gratefully received. Can you play the KVK's 3 oscillators separately as you can with the Bass?

Thank you Mat , but Dave's alright with me , he's got some good points for sure...
