Kori’s Road to Orthodox Judaism

In this episode of "Tell Me a Story," I chat with Kori Moncur, who shares his extraordinary journey of faith.
Born in the Bahamas and raised in Canada, Kori takes us through his upbringing in a predominantly Christian environment, his curiosity about religion, and the questions that led him on an unexpected path to Orthodox Judaism.
From learning Greek and Hebrew in high school to studying religious texts at university, Kori explains some of the philosophical and theological questions that shaped his path. He shares what it was like feeling like a cultural and religious outsider, his exploration of Judaism, and the challenges and rewards of converting to a new faith.
