KORKUT Self Propelled Air Defence System - Turkish Air Defence System: Korkut

Hello everyone, from the ANKA youtube channel, in this video, we are going to introduce you to the Korkut air defence system.
The Korkut self propelled air defence weapon system efficiently provides air defence for mobile elements and mechanised units.
Korkut is newly designed and developed for effective ground based air defense against modern air threats. The system consists of a team of three 35 mm Weapon Systems and one Command Control System that can operate fully autonomously.
The weapon system's command control vehicle provides:
Common mission execution with armored mechanized troops
Target Acquisition & Tracking with 3D Search Radar,
Local Area Air Image Generation
Post command control of the air defense weapon systems,
The taking of engagement orders from post command,
the capability of Identification of Friend or Foe with the IFF System
Korkut's weapon system vehicle provides:
Common mission execution with armoured mechanised troops,
Firing on the move with stabilized gun turret,
Automatic ammunition feed and selection,
Post command coordinated operation,
Automatic target tracking with a Fire Control Radar,
Target acquisition & tracking with electro optic sensors,
Effective air defense with advanced fire control algorithms
Korkut can fire 1100 rounds per minute with its double barreled 35mm weapon system and it has the ability to fire Airburst Ammunition, which has been developed by Aselsan.
The Korkut Air Defence System platform vehicle has high mobility both on land and water due to being based on the amphibious ZMA-30 armoured vehicle, which ahs been developed by FNSS.

Sizi epey takdir ediyorum. Yaşlarımız aşağı yukarı aynı, muhtemelen siz de benim gibi küçük yaşlardan beri savunma sanayiine ilgi duyuyorsunuz. Ben ilgi seviyesinde kaldım ama siz yıllar içinde kendinizi geliştirip bu alanda çevre edinmeye, ortaya bir şeyler koymaya başladınız. Turkey MUST buy about 100 B52 NORA Serbian produced self propelled howitzers. If I am correct they are 1,6 milion per piece. It is too cheap an good qualitiy,. Also PASARS-16 SPAAGs 10-15 of them just to see how Serbs implemented L70 autocannon 40mm and stzudy that to make similar vehicle but with Stzingers on them and also use L70 on IFV like Tulpar IFV. . They can buy licence to programe L70 to fire PABM from Serbia or ROK but I think Serbia will sell it cheaper. and licence for programable air-burst ammo. And also lok what is difference between ROK and SDerbian 40mm PABM if they is big difference buy both licence. Also tzhey should upgrade Northrop F-5E Tiger II airplanes to Tiger III in Israel. If informations Ihave are true F5 Tiger III would be on level of F16. And not dispach AH-1 Cobra helicopters , hey are still very good. And finaly if I am correct ( I found it on few sources) abbout Merkava Mk.4 price and it is 4.5 milion $ , so with Trophy APS it would be 5.4 million $ , they also have high presure L44 cannons , so it is better than on M1A1 Abrams, I would just ask them to put M2 HMG as coaxial gun. Also I am suprised they put 7,62 MGs as coaxial in Altay MBTs, The should put 12,7 x99mm (.50cal) HMGs like M2. Because it is huge MBT so you have enough space inside to put large amount of .50cal ammo inside. And , man when MBT shoot coaxial it is weak a** to shoot 7.62 but 12,7 is something and it goes trough walls and many obsticlre so you shoud do some job with cvoaxial , dont allways shoot 120mm ammo like technicals, infantry behind soft cover, even M113 and thin armored vehicles just use .50cal API and everything will be nice and shine hahaha. Also Israelis might put them back on F35 program or at least to negotiate with USA to back 1.5 billion Turkey i9nvest in F35 program, not in money but take 150 M1A2 SEPV3 ofcourse 1.5 bilion is not enough but pay the difference. put L55A1 on them , AKKOR aps and they have candy. and Turkish engeeners should be trhere when Americans take out depleted uranium armor and don let thm put simple RHA , they should insert SiC cause it is cheap but very hard and resiliant in one place (they have DU armor oin 2 places) , and second one they should replace with WC Boron carbide is the best but too expensive. They shoul put for example if it is 6cm to fulfill they should put 3cm of WC (tungsten carbide, not toilete hahha) and put that wc plate between n1,5cm HHS (heavy hardened steel) like 600BHN of hardness. BHN is Brinell scale ,Measurment for hardness for example RHA (rolled homogenus armor) , RHA is called Armored Steel it has 300BHN , so imagine 600bhn. So you put ceramic plate beetween two HHS plates. HHS is also expensive but not as ceramics (WC, SiC, BN, B4C etc...)... And Israeli heavy APC Namera that cost 750 000 $. You could put on then Korhan 35mm turret or some others with crew or SARP RCWS arme d with Bushmaster 25mm gun with ammo boxes on both sides. And Turkey MUST% produce 30mm ABM gun. If they produce 35mm what is difference ? And I noticed Turkish infantry still lik 7.62x39mm caliber They use AKM. Sell that oldies and buy licence for AK-103 from Saudi Arabia, It is cheap to produce, less than 300 $ and see Indian version of AK-203 . To lower a price they put AK-203 mechanism in modernized AK-103 . Look their ptroject and proiduce your AK-103 looking like that , it has picatinny on the top and sides of barrel, Modern handguard and flash hider from AK-200 series. But having in mind that 7.62x39mm have a big recoil so Turkey should produce muzzle break looking much like Zenitcos DTK-1 but not the same ofcourse. And not use expensive rocket if it is not necessary . I have nice IOdea to produce Kornet missile not litteral copy , HEF version wit much fragments inside in shape of littlče cubes, I learned that from Israaelis, everybody can hate them but when it comes to weapons they are real artists. Cubes make much more damage to tissue and organs than balls.. And make it wire guided becxause it is the cheapest way , range 3-4 km is more than enough, and produce thermobaric versions ofcourse. It is not copy you can not have any problems , and also trough Israelis buy atleast 300 L55A1 cannons. And same number of 130mm cannons and ammo for them. Youz should make Altay MBTs in futture with 3 man crew and buy licence from ROTEM for autoloaders same as ROK put in K2 MBTs. And make them with 120mm L55A1 cannons and 130mm cannons, Altay-120 & Altay 130, It would be perfect . And about Leopards 2A4 MBTs you can upgtrade them in Leopard NG but I would pu 120mm cannon you produce them , orr I have an idea and Idont know is it realistic. To take out EMES-15 ( optic ) , and put a composite armor on that side too , Put gunner optics and comanders cupola from Altay, L55 120mm gun, If driver can be moved tto middle to put another few blocks of armor on the turrets front like AAmericans put on SEP V3 and Also modular Roketsan or Aselsan Armor ,If driver cant be moved than put modular armor with hoolow part for driver to go in and out like on other versions for example Leo 2A6 or "2A7. put lot of modular armor and side of chassis like on Altay AHT because side of chassis is weak spot on all leopards . Also aermotr a turret strongly and put AKKOR APS. And you have completly differtent MBTs ofcourse if budgetz allow it it shouldnt be t5o expensive butt for sure it has to be at least twice cheaper than poroduction of Altay. And Turkey can take of Turrets from Leopard 1 MBTs and make heavy IFV just with 3 crew members, I was allways thinking why nhobody take of T-55 turret and put BMP2 or 3 on T-55 chassis so make it a heavy IFV and I saw that Ageria put BMP-2M Berezhok turrets on T-62 MBTs making it heavy IFV , great job I was impressed. So Turkey can make that with they own turrets and Leopard 1 chassis . Turrets armed with 35mm auztocannon or L70 40mm cannon , even make something like russian BMPT Terminators. Put 2 autocannoins bushmaster 25mm or two 30mm autocannoins with M2 between them like PKT in Russian BMPTs on one side put Mk.19 on other side put ATGMs . Whatever combination is , turret or like BMPT they would be great in combinations with MBTs covering sides from ATGM teams. Anbd it would be nice to buy used Mi-24 Hind from Easters NATO countries and make realGunshipos from them on both side put a soldier with M134 gatling gun and on other side Mk.19 AGL or GAU-19 .50cal gatling gun. crew space fulifill with ammo, and buy only those with 3 weapon pods on each side . .50cal gatling guns on both side on first gunpod, then 8 CIRIT guided rockets on other side unguided hydra 70mm rockets . And on third some ATGMs. they should buy like 30 of those gunships. And at least 50 Shilka SPAAGs take out 23mm guns and put two 30 or 35 guns with PABM . SStingers ON each side package of 4. 30 turn like that into SPAAGS and 20 take of radar, make crew of 3 (you dont need rfadar operator anymore) put onli one 35mm gun and lmuch ammo on both sidess simple HEImixed with FRANGIBLES AP and on other side PABM also for ATGM teams speaciali for that role put some optics , comander cupola, SARP RCWS, modular armor few layers because it is not vehicle meant to be on first line but it did great job in Syria.those23mm cannons put on modern ZU-23-2 with optic and not Stingers but ATGMs and armed M113 with them just put on roof and make some armor in front like Lebanesse artmy did. 50 shilkas will give a 100 ZU-23-2 systems so it means they can arm a 100 M113 APCs. And finally Turkey dont need USA and they F35 they should buy much cheaper Chinesse FY-31 build literally on F35 blueprints. It is even called poor countries F35 but think about name think about price . Buy 150 until Turkey produce their own 5++ 0r 6 Gen. aircraft.. And it would be nicve to buy that technology , spraying invisibility collour on aircrafts dont have to make it from special materials.

Turkey can give 350 Leopard 1 and they can give like 300 M60 some of them are moderbized more than half, more than 50 AH-1 Cobra gunship, they have thousands of different ATGMs they can give like 10 000 and 30 000 RAH-66 shoulder lounch rocket launcher, alos few hundred of Igla-2 AA missilles and at least 3000 Stingers. , then 350-400 BTRs, and they can give like 40 F16 , many guns, M110 SPH and some other old SPHs , towed howitzers some 155mm ammo. But nothing for free. Ask 200 Leopard 2A7+ with L55A1 cannons if they allready dont have it , Ask for upgreade their whole fleet of Leopards 2A4 into the most new Revolution version and with L55A1 guns. 150 KF31 and 50 KF41, 300 leopard Reavolution with full AMAP chassis and 300 L55A1 cannons for Altay MBTs . 150 Autocannons 30mm new ABM-2 . 300 130mm cannons an ammo for them. Guns H&K 416 20 000 & H&K417 20 000 & H&K M110A1 5000. I thik everyone would take off their sanctions so USA may get them back in F35 programe or take 200 M1A2 SEPV3 MBTs with L55A1 high-pressure guns and 400 M2A2 Bradley IFVs and 20 Apache Longbow. If Turkish equipment they give is worth less than those things they pay in cash the difference and also count 1.5 billion $ that USDA owe them that they invest in F35 program but get kicked fromm it without money refund. Amrican style , steal from anyone anywhere and anytime. It could turn the tide of war , I am pro -Russian but I am pro- Turkish more.
