@@beavismcquevis5 Woodstock 99 was amazing are you kidding? So many great artists and bands and 95 percent of the people there had a wonderful time. It's Woodstock though, people get crazy, and only three people died and those deaths were in no way related to the wild crowds during Limp Bizkit and Red Hot Chili Pepper's sets. One of the people who died at W99 was actually hit by a car after the show while they were leaving the venue and returning home. And another guy died near his tent and he had heart issues and he might have went too hard out in the sun for 3 days or was possibly doing drugs, it's Woodstock some people like to get messed up at shows.

The rise of the internet is the thing to blame. Back then, before the internet was a big deal and easily accessable by everyone, the only real way to debut stuff like new music was through tv and radio. with the way the world is now, most poeple know about new music from bands even before the record labels release any information. With the internet you dont have to wait until TRL comes on to find out when the new single from your fav band will be out, or the next tour announcement, ect. There is no real build up or surprise anymore when you can get online and just look it up. So, of course no one watched these shows anymore and ratings dropped. MTV had to find another avenue for programming or fade away. The "instant accessability" of the internet has changed the world, and its not always for the better. I was 13 when this show aired and remember it well. I miss the old days and ways of doing things.

Does go perfect. I mean KoЯn usually has lyrics about Jon being made fun of, treated shit shit, how life is full of shit, etc. This doll represents you (like Alfredo said) after you've been beaten up, ripped apart, etc. Goes well with what KoЯn was back then. Also with the album. I saw some of the other artwork and many of it also would have been epic. Some was just KoЯn, dark pictures but nothing really about what the lyrics have been about.

Exactly. I believe somewhere around after 1997 was when MTV started slowly slipping away from what it was meant to stand for and then it began slowly going down the toilet over the years. And as for Korn I think they got off on the whole fame popularity crap which is a shame because when they just came out with their first 2 albums they were nothing like that they were doing it for their passion, not for money and fame. I think MTV ruined Korn's credibility and reputation.
