I wish I could... how simple an answer... the real escape, from blame for all... damn drugs, hate them... unless "need" as directed... follow the directions then. drugs hurt you. you didn't hurt yourself. Damn i remember going to a friends house at like 3am, because korn was coming on the radio. Like to talk about this album before it came out, they leaked like 4 or 5 songs but this was one and my friend was like idk man this aint anything like the good shit we listened to back in the days, but THIS song had me already in love with this album a month before dropping. I was so excited to hear from a JD no longer consumed in the pain of his past, sober, and making music to be music and not just an anger/hate/pain outlet. It fuckin delivered.

this album was when their whole sound changed and i felt it wasn't korn anymore korn was my main music source to listen to yea i listened to other stuff but always and majority of the time it was korn and this was the only song in the album i could find myself to like i already felt something wrong was going on with korn when they came out with "take a look in the mirror" knowing what the band members were going through and battling at the time it made sense things were falling apart and band members were leaving which was changing the sound and feeling of the music. glad the sound is slowly coming back with their new album with head back but the sound is never gonna feel complete with out David Silveria regardless as you feel about him as a person or whatever it just doesn't sound the same with out his style of drumming,

i dont think ive listened to any other music entity more than i have with korn. the first time i listened to korn was during they're mainstream rise with 'here to stay'. i remember having a copy of their untouchables album back in 2004. i was highschool back then and i mostly listened to other bands like guns and roses, queen, metallica, not because i chose to, but because my brother my mother my uncle had these bands in their collection. Korn though, i chose to listen to them because they were the hip new thing. most of the tracks on the untouchables album, i really didnt care for. all I listened to was hollowlife and here to stay. fast forward more than a decade later and here I am listening to them nonstop. im married now with 2 wonderful children and a beautiful perfect wife. I dont know what happend along the way... but as of writing these, ive realized that Korn's lighter ballads were meant as much for the angsty teen as it is for the struggling adult.

Really underated song and album. It gets hate because the band tried something new. It's always twisted transistor used by the haters as evidence of this album sucking. I admit not a fan of the song myself but this album has a handful of bangers. I was 11 when it released and I remember how proud I was of my CD collection and this one was definitely among my favorites. Korn and Slipknot both were my go-tos. People judge them but I most likely wouldn't be here had I not listened to those bands. They reminded me everyday that I wasn't alone. In a way they were like a second family that I never got to meet lol. Anyway this song Never really held much weight or meaning for me I just enjoyed Johnathan's voice on this track. There was something about the way he delivered the "open up now" lol. Now it's got meaning and it's currently relevant as I am dealing with one of the most manipulative poor me person ever. We just know when there's outside influences controlling their thoughts resulting in horrible mind fuckery and games. It's always the person who loves them the most who gets set ablaze. I feel trapped because my heart is keeping me in the furnace.
