I made this video out of boredom one night 12 years ago. It's not perfect as I'm not a professional content creator by any means, but it's cool to see it's still getting views, comments, etc all these years later. I used to have several pointless, crappy videos (mostly Korn related as I was a huge Korn fan when I was young) that I deleted a long time ago, but this one I could never bring myself to delete and I'm glad I didn't because it seems to be appreciated and liked by a lot of people and that's awesome! 🤘❤️

Only Korn could describe loneliness as being saturating. The feeling of you holding onto it as it weighs you down, just absorbing more and more of it at the sight of everyone else's easily attainable companionship. Powerful use of words.

I wouldn't expect a really cheery comment section for a Korn video, but guys/gals... just think for a moment my dudes, the great thing about this song is not your darkest hour, no it's knowing that bands like Korn are able to put their own individual life experiences into songs that give us all connection.. solace in knowing that deep down, there is a quiet sense of understanding that can be found in the back of the mind from listening to these songs, it can remind us of what we have conquered, that it might make us remember that we all are able to rise up again from hardship and/or defeat. Nobody has to be alone with songs like these, and that should be a positive thing. Peace :)

16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. This song just can't be described with just one word. It brings a feeling of isolation, and that's what gives it it's charm. There's so much going on in this song, the crazy amount of FX used gives it an eerie feel to it as well. It's like that one type of song that you would listen to while you're on the road and it's quiet and all you can hear is cars passing by, and it's just you, alone, on the road, with nothing but your thoughts.

Loneliness. Madness. Chaos. and Suicide. Imagine if you've been trying all your life to fill that void, be it friends that you haven't got, or a loved one you haven't got due to bad luck, your own choices and mistakes or stupid self sabotage, and for years you have been completely, extremely lonely. Life around you makes you feel exiled to a different plain of existence only having yourself to keep company. You watch, in now absolute disgust, as everyone else around you succeeds in social and intimate relationships. As well as the depression, you also feel is the red mist of anger towards yourself and bitter resentment towards others. Everyday you descend further into the madness, chaos and the cold emotionless feelings of suicide. To me this is what I imagine "Saturated Loneliness" feels like, and unfortunately it pains me to say that I've been here. You know exactly how it feels if you've been here too.
