My older sister got me into Korn when they came out. She is only a year older than me. But as a bass player...she showed me mainly to listen to fieldy be stupidly unique and talented. And I've loved them ever since. Jonathan Davis is and always be one of my favorite and most respected vocalists. His lyrics hit so close to home for me that its almost unbearably difficult to listen to someone as tormented as he is because I'm in the same place...but also the most therapeutic lyrics I've heard. Music is honestly the only shit that makes me feel better and not completely alone like I always do. Got me through some seriously nightmarish times. And I'm so grateful he is brave enough to sing the lyrics he does so openly and honestly because I have a very hard time putting my feelings into words. I was about 8 when this came out. My dad listened to the local alt station ALL the time. As a kid, I was almost scared of this music.
